Q: How long is the cable?

The X~PWR H9 kit shown here has a 66" cable as shown in the description. There are four other X~PWR H9 kits available, 9", 18", 36" & 48". Look for the cable length in the main description DonB Owner 3BR Powersports, LLLC

Q: Will this work with a GoPro 8?

No, the X~PWR H9 only works with the HERO9 and HERO10. HOWEVER, the X~PWR H8 is designed to work with the HERO8

Q: What are the best thumb screws for this when mounting the GoPro? The standard screws that come are to short and the knob hits the frame.

There are two options for mounting your GoPro camera with the X~PW H9 housing: • When mounting the camera using the camera mount ears use the SEMS screw that should have bee supplied with your X~PWR-H9 kit. The SEMS screw is used in place of the GoPro thumbscrew. • When mounting the camera using the optional mount foot that is supplied with the X~PW H9 housing, use the GoPro thumbscrew. Both of these options are explained in the X~PW H9 User Guide

Q: How bad does this affect the GPS antenna?

My latest design X~PWR H9 has a removable top cold shoe. If you take it off, the camera GPS antenna has a clear view of the sky. Sorry the pic on the Amazon listing doesn't show the latest version. Take a look at the pics on my website for better info Cheers, DonB Owner 3BR Powersports, LLC
