The Forager’s Guide to Wild Foods

A lot of these plants grow around my area. I had no ideal they were a source of food. Some also have warnings that are also found within these pages. This book is a great source to have in the home. It will be put to good use.

Love it, very informative, & accurate so far.. my mom is a forage of sorts, but we also like to have this around just for knowledge base of the weeds growing on our property.

Just received it and I love it, I can’t wait to use it and learn more about plants. The pages are filled with great pics of the plants themselves but where in the USA. Lots of fun facts like common uses, cautions, how to harvest, etc. Unrelated to the actual product, the seller uses the UPS Mail Innovation service for package tracking, which I didn’t care for. Amazon notified me of it being attempted to be delivered but I was home all day and no sign of it, so I got worried. Then it changed to holding at a pickup location but didn’t specify where which worried me more. I learned that if I go to the website of the delivery method (USPS, UPS, FedEx) and place the tracking number there, it’s better at locating things for me and is more specific in the arrival date.

Here it is the book that has everything!! Herbs, plants, shrubs, berries, lichens, seaweed, marine grasses and everyone’s favorite——Mushrooms!!❤️ What else can I say, oh yes probably the most important information….Besides all the beautiful and colorful pictures of each individual wild food, is the very informative pages and pictures of POISONOUS & TOXIC LOOK-ALIKES, which is a MUST to learn… Every “want to be Herbalist” or Herbalist this is your dream book….👍🍃🌻🌱🍀🪷🙋🏻‍♀️

So far so good my wife got this as a present from me and it was something that she has wanted for awhile so I got it and according to her it is a wealth of information and she loves it. It tells of different kinds of plants and things that you can use as food to help feed yourself or family if things go bad like they seem to be headed.
