Picture and Actual Unit Don't Match
I was working on a special project that needed the 'inline' type pump "shown in the picture". Naturally, I 'assumed' the one in the picture would be the one I received, but the picture is absolutely a different part (which is why the other reviewer probably never received the correct part). The box I received indicated the seller got it from an auction and I have to also 'assume' the 3581 is the actual unit I received (not the one pictured). For the hassle the other reviewer posted, I'm just going to 'bite the bullet' and see if I can make this one work (probably not). It came with a filter that indicated it is an 'in tank' unit that (after looking at some online instructions as it did not come with any) requires modifications to the tank if you are going to use it to replace the original equipment (be aware). Anyway, this seller is obviously a 'rip-off' and judging by the other reviewer - I would NEVER PURCHASE from them again. I guess they're just after the 'onesies and twosies' they can take advantage of when possible.

In tank not external
Did a search for external fuel pumps and this one popped up. Picture shows external, read the description, it didn't say internal or external. When I received it the pumps are actually internal fuel pumps. Had decided to send them back but since I do use internal pumps on another race car I decided to keep them as spares. Gave it only three stars because of this confusion not because of how it works. Can't comment on that yet because I haven't installed it

This item has 2 pictures, 1 is inline & 1 is in tank. Amazon asured me it would fit both. It is only an in tank pump. I need an inline. Edelbrock 3581 High-Pressure Electric Fuel Pump

Very Disappointed
I ordered this part. I recieved the wrong part 3 times. I was without a car for a week and a half. And my refund took 2 weeks to get back. I ended up going somewhere else for the part.
