This video capture card works perfectly with my Galaxy tablet for watching Amazon Firestick when traveling.

I found my way to this product after watching at YouTube video about cheap ways to get into console game footage capture. It suits that need perfectly as long as you measure your expectations. The one piece of advice I will give to anyone purchasing this item for the purpose of capturing video game footage from a console - buy an HDMI splitter that will duplicate your console's output into a second display. When you have footage from a console going through this device into a program like OBS or twitch studio or whatever, there will be a noticeable amount of input lag to the point where it is difficult to do the triple jump in Mario 64. Splitting the output to a second display allows you to play on that display with no such lag. Overall, if you're like me and you're looking for a cheap way to find out if capturing gameplay footage for streaming or YouTube or whatever is something you want to invest in, this is a good, cheap way to do it.

Connects and works as it should. No fuss!

Worked as described. My video quality with this capture card is smooth and cinematic. Recommend using the USB(C) SS-5 or SS-10 slots. This device can connect to both USB and USB-C on PC. The little numbers are posted next to the slot. Turn of Automatic Focus on DSLR lens to remove the white rectangle on older DSLR models. Don't forget the dummy battery so you can plug in your camera instead of using batteries.

Worked okay the first day of testing, slightly reduced quality and some somewhat annoying input lag but for the price I was managing to just kind of ignore it because I wanted to share screens while I played legends arceus and had someone watch my screen. Past the first day, the image started chopping a bit, then got more pixelated, then went entirely green, and stopped working altogether. After going to unplug and replug, the device itself was INSANELY hot. Like the practicality of boiling an egg onto it was probably viable. I genuinely recommend just going for something else. If you plan to take any of the recording/streaming/etc that you do seriously, I'd go for something better, which is likely to mean pricier. An unfortunate reality, but I'd just stay away from this particular one.

Used this along with some other dongles/adapters to convert some old VHS tapes to digital. On Windows 11 it was plug-and-play, and OBS Studio recognized it immediately as a capture device. Note the supported resolution and frame rate- if you want to scale it to a different resolution, you will need to do it in your recording software (like OBS).

Used this to process my retro handheld HDMI output through an outboard effects processor. WORKED PERFECTLY! There is no way to also be able to view the screen on the handheld at the same time with just this setup that's just a fact. No fault to the device, its doing what it was meant to!

Bought this to record videos on my Nintendo switch for YouTube, and the product works great. It is able to record 1080p at 60fps as advertised and was very affordable.

I must admit as far as captures cards are concerned, this did give me a great image! But within 4 hours of use it got too hot and died. It starts up fine once cool but doesn’t last 20 minutes. Might be a defective unit.

Delivery was quick, product looks nice but the one I received did not work. Tried it on 2 different computers (one running Windows 10, the other Windows 11) but was not detected. Supposed to be plug & play. I tried to find a specific driver on the internet in case I needed one but did not find anything. Had to return it unfortunately.

My camera can output 4k, but maximum I get is 1080
