Ottimo prodotto

Was soll ich sagen - einfach unglaublich gutes Intercom. Klare kaufempfehlung!

A very nice option for the budget-minded
I’m poor - we’ll sort of. Anyone with an Amazon Prime account isn’t necessarily considered poor! I don’t have a lot of “spend-however-you-want-to” money. So, while considering Bluetooth units for my motorcycle helmet I knew the desired Cardo was out of the question. After all, I’d rather save toward a better motorcycle than spend it on expensive Bluetooth. The FreedConn T-COMVB was an excellent choice. I ordered/paid for it on Friday evening and had it in hand Sunday afternoon. After charging it while I finished a few other responsibilities I was able to install it in my HJC-CL-17 helmet with ease. I will say that the way this particular helmet is designed the cables are harder to run, and the clip with the screws just isn’t the right size to work with the way the thicker body of the helmet is designed. The outrageously strong “sticky tape” is very much up to the challenge. I had the unit installed in about 10 minutes and was ready to go. Be sure you order the correct microphone style. I made sure to get the soft corded mic rather than the boom mic. It fits right into the chin area (I do not have a chin curtain installed).I tested the unit’s connectivity with my phone before installing in the helmet just in case it didn’t work for some reason. At first I was not able to connect but then realized that having it connected to my portable Bluetooth speaker (another great product - the Anker Soundcore) was not allowing the phone to connect. Once that was turned off it connected immediately and was up and running.I will confirm that the speakers are not as loud as I’d like them to be but they are sufficient. The only thing I haven’t been able to hear so far is some really soft classical music. Moderately volumed music and podcasts come through rather nicely. I was able to hear the radio when I accidentally turned it on and played with it for a minute, but since I don’t use the radio much I’ve not fully tested this function.Having the unit mounted on the left side of my helmet is nice for operating the controls since my motorcycle does not have cruise control. However, the controls are counterintuitive at first in this position. Turning the volume up is done by turning the top of the wheel toward the back of the helmet. Track and channel changes work the same way. But it works well so there is no issue there. Having it the other way would be a nice upgrade in future versions of the unit. Totally functional as it is though.I am able to operate the controls easily with my gloves. There are only two buttons that can be pushed and the wheel can be turned. This is all very easy, even with gloves. It is disappointing to only be able to call the last number on the phone but I knew that ahead of time and ordered it anyway. Pulling over to dial the correct person isn’t so bad anyway. And speaking of phone calls, I called my mom and talked to her for a few minutes without telling her I was riding my motorcycle. She had no idea I was. Once I told her she couldn’t get off the phone fast enough!! The noise cancelation is astounding. My wife also confirms that the calls are clear. After receiving, charging, installing, and testing on Sunday afternoon I left immediately to make a hospital visit. On the way home I got caught in the rain for the first time ever while out on the road with my motorcycle. The unit is waterproof and works just like new even though it got wet. I was using it to listen to a podcast and it never missed a beat.If you can’t tell, I am very happy with my purchase. It was money well spent but not overspent. Hoping to get many years out of it. The hardest part of this unit is learning and remembering the different control inputs. It’s somewhat complicated to remember the options. The basic ones are already stored in my memory, but the options less-used are still requiring a manual to figure out.UPDATE - After almost a year of use, and I use it every time I ride, I am still very happy with this purchase. As soon as it turns on it connects to my phone without any noticeable delay. It has never dropped the connection. I still haven’t worked with the radio function. It has never fallen out of the mount and the double-sided tape is still holding up strong. As for battery life, I get very long ride time with this. It will start to beep every 20-30 seconds when the battery is about to die but it still goes for a while after that. It seems to fully charge in 2-3 hours, but I’m never there to see when the charging light changes color. I still wish I could push a button and “Siri” would work but that is not an available feature. When adjusting the volume there is a delay as you have to hold the wheel for it to work the volume control. When it does start changing the volume, though, it is a slow change and doesn’t go from full volume to mute in a split second.
