Works great and easy to install

Easy to install beautiful nickel finish works well. I will buy a few more for my interior doors now.

I have some things that need a bit more security from teens. I'm not talking dangerous things - just my property that they borrow without asking and never put back. I thought about a fancy fingerprint lock and had one guy just say "add a latch and padlock." I decided to just match the rest of the doors as best I could but add a key. This particular door knob is way more sturdy than the original and now has a key. It was simple to install and took only minutes. If you have a latch hole that isn't a rectangle, you may have to chisel a little. There's a tool on this site that makes that easy too. I would definitely purchase again. The only slight drawback is that the keys are rather large in shape. I think I'll get some smaller ones made.

I thought it was a quality product and per description should have worked for my door. However, when trying to install this, the fit was not correct.

This is a heavy duty door handle kit. It took me awhile to get my old one off but this one went on smoothly. I did have to do a youtube video to change the door handles but it was easy with the enclosed tool.

I waited many, many years for my husband to replace our front door handle. I finally got mad. Ordered and installed it myself. This was super easy to install, looks great, works so much better than the one from the 40+years ago. Lever handle is easier to use with arthritic hands. Locking mechanisms work smoothly. The rubbed bronze goes nicely with our 100+ year old house.

Worked in place of place of old one

Pros: The value is amazing compared to name brand hardware. They look and feel great.Cons: We purchased 11 total. 3 failed within two years (one in high use area, two in very low use areas) and bought more to keep a consistent look. That is the power potential money savings and the steep price difference against name brands.One failure was due to the inside moving parts breaking. The other two were manufacturing defects. If the lever that keeps the door latches closed goes too far inside, it gets stuck. I tried many things to get it out including drilling to pull them out, which worked until they were pushed back in. Past the return date and saw no warranty info so a review is the best we have. Would I do it again? It saved us a couple hundred bucks, so yes. Just wish there was a little extra care in making the final product. Also, nice bonus that the newer versions put a nice drywall protector in the package.
