This sandal is such a great quality purchase. I've bought these for my spouse the last 3 years in a row and he wears them nearly everyday. The sole is nice and thick providing great comfort, arch support and thick cushioning. They are true to size and last for a long time. The stitching is nice and solid, you're definitely getting your money's worth from this quality brand.

I have a lot of issues with flip flops. I've even bought good pairs from Reef and Skechers and always end up irritating and blistering my feet badly. I guess my feet are just very sensitive and I almost thought that I can never wear flip flops since my feet irritate so easily. So fearing another painful walking, I decided to try these Sanuk Fraid Not flip flops thinking I was going to end up with blisters again. Well I tried them on and walked for over 4 miles in them and they were GREAT! No irritation or blistering whatsoever! And this is without breaking them in too!! They are comfy right from the start!! I cannot believe I finally found a pair of flip flops that agree with my feet. I was a little worried at first because the straps seem to be a little on the rough side, so I thought they were going to rub the wrong way, but they didn't. I think the reason is these flip flops are so light so they don't pull and dig the straps into my feet and the straps are not too tight where they rub and dig the wrong way. They are made just right. A couple of gripes however... since these are so light, I don't expect them to last long. I probably will wear them for the next two months until summer ends. But once summer ends, I expect that these will need to be tossed as they will probably start to fall apart. But maybe I might be surprised, but they do feel a bit flimsy so I'm not keeping my fingers crossed. But hey, these flip flops are extremely light and comfy. So you can't have it both ways, so I won't knock down a star on my rating. Another gripe is, the arch support is lacking. But my guess is that the lack of arch support helps keep these flip flops light. Reef flip flops have good arch support, but they are heavy and the heaviness of the flip flops causes it to pull the straps into my feet and irritate it with every step I take. So again, not going to knock down a star. Both flaws are trade-offs to help keep the flip flops light and comfy. And that's what matters to me. These are quite pricey at $30 a pair and since they probably have to be replaced every season, these can be quite costly. But they are worth it! They are extremely comfortable and when hot summer kicks in, it's always great to have a comfortable pair of open-toed footwear, which in my case, is not easy to find.

Durable and comfy

Sanuk: FRAID NOT 🩴 are cool! Decently made, nice style, fits good. The standard FRAID NOT’s are .5 mm too low. And the new FRAID NOT Soft Tops have a too high of a stack height, somewhere in-between would be a great sweet spot! The suede footbed is comfortable but not as luxurious as the new Soft Top version. They are slightly loose for my low-to-medium volume feet, I always would prefer a tighter and snugger strap to secure the flip-flops better to the feet while walking! I love the Charcoal Gray 🩶 Suede color-way! The embossed logo under the heel is a tad annoying to your under your heel because everything else is so smooth. Try not to get them wet. Due to having a low-volume feet I returned the new FRAID NOT Soft Top version due to being too heavy under foot, and not being snug secure enough. But the ST’s lighter gray suede footbed is more luxurious. *I opted for the standard original FRAID NOT model. The original FRAID NOT model is a little darker in color and has a slightly up-curl sole for better foot ergonomics. They are a lot lower profile and are lower to the ground, offering better stability, but not as comfortable under foot. I wish the original FRAID NOT model had a .5 mm thicker midsole. And the originals only have a foam tread pattern. Wish they had a thinner rubber outsole for better grip. I would like to see a HYBRID version of the standard FRAID NOT and the new FRAID NOT Soft Tops. Request: Please make an all-BLACK 🖤 color-way! I liked them so much, I ordered another pair 🩴. Do I recommend. Yes!

I live in mexico and wear flip flops all day every day. I normally wear a size 9 1/2, but half size wasn't available. So i ordered a size 9 and hoped for the best. These fit perfect!!! I think a half size bigger MAY have still fit good, but 9s fit me. Very comfortable. I have already wore these for a couple weeks now. All day every day and i love them. Great materials, great construction, well worth the price. I will absolutely buy these again in different colors.

If I could live in these I would! This is a late posted review as sometimes it takes time to get honest opinions, These are the very best I’ve ever owned! So comfortable! Durable, No foot bed sweating issues, no chaffing in between your toes, Worn down the Vegas strip, worn to Six Flags… They have miles of smiles on them! And I’m still rocking these and have has zero issues on my feet or quality even after all these miles! Love love love them!

My last pair of Sanuk thongs lasted about 10 years. They are still holding together but the soles are a little thin. I still throw then on my feet for around the house. I've worn them in urban settings, out for casual dinning and to the beach. They've been half way around the world with me including South East Asia, Indonesia and as high as 5,500 m in Nepal. I've even worn them instead of hiking boots when on easy going sections of backcountry trails in New Zealand. I can't buy them in Australian any more so I was stoked to find that I could still buy them from the USA via Amazon. I bought 2 pair. One for now and one for (much) later, in case I can no longer buy them in 8 to 10 years time. I love my Sanuks!
