I'm working on my first diamond painting and did extensive research before purchasing one. I got this tool kit because many sources stated that having additional tools made the experience more enjoyable. All of the pens work as they should. They hold the wax well. I love the spatula tool so I can straighten any wayward drills in a row. I would not want to do a diamond painting without a tool like the spatula. It's also great for pushing/lining up the rows of drills after you've shaken them. The owl light-up pen is nice, but I personally don't need the light and find it more difficult to work with it on. It might work better for someone else. I've not used the plastic tweezers and probably won't as I had a metal pair come in my painting kit and can tell that the metal ones will be more precise. I really like the large roller; per my research, it's worth it to make sure the drills are stuck down well. I could have done the same thing with my rolling pin, but for someone who maybe doesn't have one this tool works well. I absolutely LOVE the larger white shakey pan. The green ones are okay, but the white one seems to get the drills in line and right side up much faster than the green ones. I also love the pour spout on the white one, which the green ones lack. One big con, if you're not aware of it: the little containers can be VERY hard to open, specifically the first time. Some of them loosened up after the initial opening and some didn't. I had my first accident pretty early into putting the drills into the containers by trying to open one of them with drills in it. They flew everywhere. Word to the wise: have a GOOD GRIP on the container with a finger over the lid, pry the lid open SLOWLY with a tool like the spatula, then fully open it. This can be tedious for some; I do other crafts such as cross stitch and crochet so this extra bit of work isn't a big deal for me. Overall, I really like this kit and am glad I purchased it. Without some of these tools it would not be as enjoyable to do the painting and I couldn't find a better mix of the tools I deemed essential for the price than this kit.

I have been diamond painting for approximately 4 months. This kit has all the items that I didn’t even realized I needed. It is great to receive so many items that enhance my diamond painting experience all in one nice compact case. The lighted pens are great for my black (310) beads that generally are a struggle to see which side is up. The larger trays are better quality than the trays that have come with my kits, easier to flip and able to hold more quantity as well as less spills, and the drills line up easier for multi-drill pens to pickup. Easy pour spout to return un-used drills. The 12 drill container is great for taking my project with me being on the go. Bonus... all these tools and accessories plus many more (too many to mention all here) fit into a great pink case to keep it compact and organized.

The tools in this kit are AMAZING for any Diamond Painter! The roller is lightweight but hefty enough to really make sure your drills are in place and it rolls so smoothly. The lighted pens are not only cute but make placing dark colors so much easier. The storage container is perfect & I love having extra trays, especially the really big tray to use with all the background colors that there are so many of. The different styles of tweezers are great to use for both square and round drills and the baggies and clips are great to have on hand. Overall this is a WONDERFUL purchase for all Diamond Painters. The quality is excellent and the seller is amazing to work with.

So i am going to make this quick as possible all in all it is a great tool kit there were things we all get with every diamond painting like the green tray, wax squares and single placing pens. Some kits come with the multi placing pen heads i just have not got any until i ordered this and let me tell you some of my diamond paintings would have been so much easier with them even placing 3 at a time would have been better then one. also in some diamond paintings you will get tweezers standard depending on the company that makes them will depend on the quality. this is something i cant comment on to much as i have not played around with the tweezers all i will say about the tweezers is to the look the Metal pair that you get looks like they might be a better pair then some of the ones i have seen you get in a diamond painting Kit.The medium and Large trays will definitely come in handy, I tend to end up with diamond paintings with large backgrounds of solid colors so a larger tray will make that easier.The row straightener If you are like me and you like to diamond painting for gifts you want them to look as nice as possible. It comes with 3 pearl storage canisters I could see if you have a large number of resins in one of your larger diamond paintings these would work perfect as a temporary way to hold diamonds or depending on your system maybe even a permanent storage for left over resins I have not decided what i am going to do with my 3. The 12 slot box will work great in small or partial diamond paintings or full ones with only a few colors. the 5 canvas clips definitely are cheaply made but will do the job of holding a rolled up canvas. Last thing i can speak on is Fred the Owl with the 3 or 6 placers on them. so this is a cool idea only thing i find is the it does make a slight glare on the canvas but maybe it is something i will have to get used to. But the little guy is definitely very cute and i am glad to have it. Only real negative When i received the Box it was damaged and by box i mean the pink box that the tools are held in the box the items came in was not damaged this tells me it was damaged before it was packaged up. Overview For the price you pay for this product it is worth what you get yes the box was damaged but everything else i got was definitely worth the money i spent. This works great for a person who likes diamond painting or as a gift for some one who does. The box is a little small so at some point i will need to upgrade it to something a little bigger but thats because i still have a few tools and accessories i plan on getting over the next few months. I hope this is helpful to someone else

This is one of the most complete collections of accessories for the diamond painting enthusiast I have ever seen. What I liked the most were the LED pens, super huge boats for holding the drills, the handy storage box and the extra pens with the multiple drill applicators. A huge plus is this special tool that acts as a spacer or spatula so you can line up the drills on your project. I have not seen this anywhere before and it is a valuable tool. I'm happy that it came with plenty of wax and a nice small case for project drills. I purchased this kit with my own money and feel that I can recommend it to anyone interested in this item as I have not been influenced by any outside party to post a review on this collection.

This kit arrived very quickly and in good condition. The box is small and will be a great container for taking along a few tools and materials for working on a canvas when traveling. I'm a diamond painting newbie, and to try to find the best tips for getting the best results, I went to youtube for help. One of the videos I viewed covered the unboxing and evaluation of this kit by a crafter I've found to be very knowledgeable about diamond painting. The number of, and the usefulness of, the tools was well presented. I was excited about being able to buy the kit at a cost that fit my budget. I think that the design of the drill pens, and the number provided, were primary in my decision to purchase. A couple of the pens provide light, and along with the angles of the pens and the provision of finger grips for the pens, convinced me that the kit would be valuable for someone just beginning with diamond painting. I most certainly recommend the purchase of this kit, at the very least, for someone just embarking on this craft.

Great product

I bought this kit when I first ordered a diamond painting kit and I am sure glad I did! I'm on my 4th picture now (I'm addicted) and this stays on my craft table every day. So much comes in this little box--it's really amazing. It's a great help to have extra drill pens and extra "sticky" glue and the trays in multiple colors and sizes make working on my projects faster. There are even numbered labels that are great to put on your storage boxes for loose drills and extra plastic baggies to store your extras. This is a great value and if you get this and a light board, you will be set for just about any diamond painting project!
