These speakers are worth it.
As always when buying replacement drivers are the mounting dimensions: frame diameter, number of mounting holes, and position of the holes, so buyer beware. Seller provided all the dimensions needed to make an informed decision in the product description. Not all 10" speakers are the same size! A pair of these Sound Town 10" replaced some originals from a set of Radio Shack/Optimus 10" PA/Monitor speakers. Only one was going bad but these drivers were different enough from the originals so they're best replaced in pairs. The fit was snug (a good thing) and all the holes lined up correctly so no further changes had to be made. Following a four hour "burn-in" period they sound punchy, tight, accurate, and with better mid-range than the originals, perfect for the backyard and PA use they'll be employed at. Check out what Sound Town offers if you're building or refurbishing PA systems. These made a "Meh" set of monitors into boxes worth listening to for a modest price!

Puts in WORK.
I ordered this subwoofer to replace an older JBL ION Series DJ subwoofer when the original started to make an exit. The original woofer started rattling at high volume so I knew it was only a matter of time - After all, the subwoofer was close to 15 years old. After some fairly extensive research and review-reading, I decided to give this a shot. It's working out great and I imagine that it will sound even better over time as it breaks in a little more. It has no problem handling the built-in JBL amplifier. This is definitely a great replacement and a MUCH cheaper option over a replacement JBL woofer.

Great replacement for my DIY Party speakers
I Used this for my DIY Party subwoofer and full range speaker. While its not meant to handle heavy excursion bass, it has surprisigly good bass around 45hz down and vocals upto 2khz. The mids can get a bit distorted at peak volume when running as a full range driver depending upon the Amplifier being used. For the price, it is pretty solid build and sounds good.

Amazing Perfect fit!!!
Great product for the money. They hit the low notes just right using a strong amp to power them.
