Truform Sheer Compression Stockings, 15-20 mmHg, Women's Thigh High Length, 20 Denier, Nude, X-Large

I’ve been wearing TruForm for nearly 18 years because I need serious compression support working in healthcare on my feet long hours. I have terrible varicose veins that get worse during pregnancy and my monthly cycle, so I often need support stocking options that I can wear with dress clothes, too. These fit the bill as well as can be expected. They look like any other nylon when worn with dresses or skirts without the annoying waistband of full nylons. They don’t provide nearly the compression of the thicker, opaque options from TruForm, but these aren’t marketed for that. However, I went with mediums to hopefully have them fit a bit tighter, but I can’t wear these all day as they make my toes bunched up. For reference, I’m 5’6”, 128 lbs, and typically wear shoe size 9.5.

These are really great. They are durable but still comfortable. Well worth the money. I didn't have any issues with the length that others commented on. I'm 5'3" and they were just right. They have really helped with the swelling and aching in my legs from my sit down job. Would recommend them. Will be purchasing more.

First let me say that I am a male customer. I've been wearing unisex thigh high 15-20 compression sock/stocking because I work on concrete floors for eight hours, three days a week. I find them very helpful with leg fatigue. I have pretty bad varicose veins as well. I've had no luck finding thin ones to wear under my jeans for summer, so I purchased these female sheer compression stockings. I'm 6 foot, 185 lbs. My measurements are 9 ankle, 14.5 calf, and 19.5 thigh. The size chart put me in a large but I choose XL after reading a review written by a tall slender women because I find the higher the stocking sit on my thighs the better they stay up. Regarding staying up, absolutely no issue at all. I put them on at 7 am and never touched them until removing them when I got home at 6:30 pm. Bending, walking, sitting, no problem. I will say I did have a bad reaction to the solid silicone band. I find the silicone dots do not affect me as much. I wish I could find a thin/sheer unisex version without lace tops and silicone dots instead of solid bands. If I wear these again I think I will have to reduce the wear time to reduce the rash from the silicone band.

These are great the first few hours of wear, but if you have to work in them all day like I do, the band around the thigh starts to irritate my skin so badly that it starts to welt up and leaves deep indentions by midday. The material is also a little rough and scratchy so that is also uncomfortable over time.

The stockings are a moderate compression and the "pocket" at the toe is very comfortable, however.....BEWARE of the band around the thighs. The inside of the band is silicone and, if too tight, it will causes RED WELTS on your skin. It happened to me and to others that have reviewed this product. I ordered ONE SIZE UP (because of the good price of the stockings) and it seems to be OK now. I hope this helps someone. I KNOW WE ALL WISH WE DIDN'T HAVE TO WEAR THESE STOCKINGS.!

These are great and at a great price! I have a large open ulcer on my leg and it's a pretty serious thing but I've always had nice legs and people like my sexy legs so it keeps my moral up to wear something that fills the medical needs but still looks good and these get an A+++!!!

These Truform Compression Hose wear nicely up to 12 hour and more. I been wearing this brand for over 20 years. Love them.
