Do the shears come in a box, or with a blade protector?

The shears that I purchased were packaged in a plastic pouch with a snap closure. The plastic pouch was made of material designed for marketing display purposes of which I would not consider to be a durable material. There was no box or blade protector. I discarded the plastic pouch. However, the shears are of great quality. I have no regrets.
