Great, convenient, well-made convertible backpack-wheeled case.
Great, convenient, well-made convertible backpack-wheeled case. The large wheels make curbs, cobblestones, rough pavement, even stairs easily navigable. The backpack straps hide and store well. The seams are holding up well as are the zippers. I bought a second one after trying the first. They fit in every overhead bin as an airline carry-on. The only change I would wish for is that that the front compartment with a long single zipper should have a double zipper like the main compartment so it opens from the top instead of the bottom.

Best wheelie briefcase I’ve ever had
I was hesitant to buy this because I’m a lawyer and need to carry legal sized files. I always had a regular wheelie bag. But- I really wanted the big wheels on this for snow, stairs, and general maneuverability. It is a fantastic bag. I slide my files in the long way, labels up, and it actually holds more than my previous wheeled briefcases. The main pocket is huge. The second pocket, which I guess is for laptops, also holds about ten files, my iPad, and assorted papers I need to bring to and from work. The smaller outside pocket has now taken the place of my purse. No more dragging a purse AND wheelie bag around. It’s big enough for my fat set of keys, a fat business card holder, my wallet, pens, my phone and my court ID on a lanyard.Wheeling this thing around is so much easier than a traditional rolling briefcase. Instead of a rectangle on wheels it’s a slim bag that pivots easily on the two big wheels. Going through doors is so much easier. The wheels are AWESOME. They go up stairs, they turn really easily, and I don’t have to drag the bag. They feel self propelled. Haven’t had snow yet but I’m sure they will make a big difference.I waited a few months to write this review because some people complained about tears. Zero tears. I pick it up by the cloth handle all the time and it is really full (plus a heavy bottle of water- the water holder can hold a big Nalgene bottle no problem and I love that I don’t have to have it sweating on papers in my bag) and there have been no tears of any kind. The handle is awesome. It clicks up into place and stays there. There is nothing worse than a handle that slowly slides down. This one stays locked into place. Then when I need to retract it I just press the button and down it goes. All in all an excellent purchase. A few of my colleagues have one them after seeing mine.

These larger wheels make all the difference
I purchased this rolling backpack to haul around my Dungeons & Dragons books, modules, papers, dice, pencils, coffee, etc. I volunteer at a local school and advise their brand new student led D & D Club. Only a couple of them have any of the books (Starter and Essentials kits) so I bring my hard cover 5th Ed core books for them to expand their knowledge and their adventures. Kids are forgetful so I also bring extra dice, pre-made characters and blank character sheets and a slew of other items to facilitate play. I needed a bag that could hold a 9 to 10 inch stack of books, papers, etc, and all the other odds and ends I need. This was the largest I could find that also had the large wheels. So far, after 4 meetings I am impressed. A few of the faculty are as well. This thing holds everything I need and more.I am currently dragging around the 5th Edition Dungeon Masters Guide, Players Handbook, Monster Manual, Hoard of the Dragon Queen, the Essentials Kit (not in the box), the Starter Kit (not in the box), the leather version of the DM screen, 4 collapsible octagonal dice trays, a 1 subject notebook, 50 sheets of graph paper, about 20 sheets of regular lined paper, and 50 character sheets. Plus a dozen pencils, 4 erasers (2 inch x 1 inch), 2 small sharpeners, and about 50 dice (5 emergency sets in case they forget theirs plus my hoard). My 16 oz coffee tumbler and my umbrella round out the kit riding in the net side pockets that can be hidden away in little zipper pockets when I don't need them. I was carrying all of this in a 20 inch canvas tote back and killing my arm, shoulder, back, hip and hands as I also tried to juggle a little backpack cooler with about 14 Capri Suns and a small reusable canvas shopping bag full of snacks. So, I needed something to make into and out of school (and into and out of my home) twice a week easier on myself. The bag is bigger than any of the other wheeled bags I saw that were under $200 USD. It has a large main compartment and several smaller compartments which make it easier to organize it all. The giant wheels make this the best bag I have ever owned or used. It tackles stairs, curbs, uneven ground (rocky, grassy, mixed - it tackled it all) and doesn't slow me down because it doesn't try to tip one way or the other as I am dashing like a madman to the classroom. The handle has a couple of different height settings so it's more comfortable for a wider range of people. I'm 5'8" and like the handle extended completely, but some of the students are only 5'2" and use it on the first setting when they help me haul it about. When it is not in use the trolley handle easily stows inside itself and is out of the way of the bags grip handle you can use to lift the pack up. The backpack straps tuck neatly out of the way, but are quickly and easily accessible when/if you need to use your hands for something else and convert it to a backpack to shoulder the load. The wheel dustcover is just a nylon baggie with elastic edging (think very small fitted sheet made of nylon) designed to just slip over the wheels and a small portion of the bottom of the bag so as to shield your clothing from the dirt and grime the tires collect while it is rolling, but I'm not certain that it will stay in place for any length of time. I also have not tested that part out yet since I will mainly be using this as a pull behind bag and not an on the shoulder pack. The back portion and the shoulder straps do have decent padding and will help protect the wearer from bruising caused by shifting the bag around while it's worn or by items shifting around inside the pack. It will fit my 17" laptop, but not with everything else I am already hauling around inside it. I have no desire to crack my laptop screen putting it in with 4 heavy hardcover books.Fully loaded it leans a tiny bit forward, but you mostly don't notice it unless the handle is extended and it's just sitting there. I think the handle may be designed that way just for ease of towing, but I do not know. It came with no instructions, but there is also nothing to put together. Just hunt for all the little nooks and crannies. So far, I am absolutely loving this wheeled backpack and it seems sturdy. I will use it for a while and try to remember to come back to update this review after a full school year and I have a better idea of how much of a beating it can withstand.

Almost the best backpack ever
Overall: A great backpack and probably serve well for most conditions.Material: Pretty tough, I work in the field with military as well as travel a ton. The mesh unfortunately did start pulling loose after about 10 uses around the zipper. Granted, it has not torn further, and I have not exactly been easy on the bag.Overall Build: The wheels are awesome! The straps, are kinda lame, but i get it. How else do you pack away the shoulder straps? What gets me, the handle construction. You get one T-shaped handle. I believe if they had put two telescopic bars they could have make a more solid handle. Additionally you could slip another back on there, and it would stay nicely. The drink pouches are just... ok. The organization of the pouches, again are just... ok.TSA Friendly: Definitely! Easy to pack and unpack quickly in TSA line. Fits under most airplane chairs. ***sometimes it won't find wheels first***. If you have it where you are rolling it, and they say "we must check all roller bags from here forward" when you are a boarding, it is really nice to be able to put on the backpack straps and keep your bag onboard with you. Especially if you are toting around a government laptop.Good bag, could use a few minor improvements.
