Hello, The answer to the question is that the one I am selling comes with the cone roller. I would think that every cone maker machine should come with one. TLCLLC

Can this be used for making just waffles?

This product does not have the depth that a waffle maker has thus making waffles with this product is not advised.

The waffles clings to the top lid does not release. The latch is tightly locked. How to fix both of these issues? Thanks

Non-stick spray or light application of oil is recommended on top and bottom plates before adding batter. The latch does not need to be engaged during cooking.
