I love the packaging as it came very neat and gift set ready. The self watering micro greens set came with a link for an instructional video which I find quite handy. The seeds in this kit are very viable and sprout very easily. Make sure that you soak the seeds a few hours or even overnight to help out with germination. Keep the dark cover on top for about three days. Try not to peek. I know you may be anxious. But after three days, you will be able to take the top off and you will see your sprouts. At first, I started mine under a grow light but then I found a perfect place in front of my bedroom window, where the sunshine came in with just a little adjustment of my blinds. Within a couple of more days I had beautiful micro greens. Make sure that you harvest them in enough time because the mats last just long enough for them to create luscious beautiful greens and because they are so crowded together you don’t want to miss the cut off and have them wilt over. It’s a great value for your money and makes a great gift. It is very beginner friendly as well here.

Easy to use. Broccoli sprouts up in 3 days, start eating after 5. The taste is sooo good. You won’t regret getting this. Also you don.t have to change or add water

This is not my first time growing micro-greens so I thought I would share my feedback on this product. Aesthetically it’s nice with the bamboo box (but totally not necessary). Set up and entire process is very easy. Sprouts are ready in 7 days. Germination rate of seeds that comes with it was very good - about 90% sprouted. My only dislikes were that the box is waaaay smaller than I expected and it does not yield a high volume of sprouts at one time. (You get about enough sprouts to fill a small kids bowl). I can get 3-4 times more volume of sprouts from my 2 Sprout Jars and it takes only 5 days. Not real world problems but just sharing. You need to be a little careful when cutting the sprout to ensure you don’t clip the hemp mat with it, as I’m sure that’s not best to eat. Price comparison on this is so-so. If I were to purchase more growing trays I would invest in a much larger size. Happy Sprouting to Ya!

Easy to follow instructions, well-made materials and it was fun! I was a little concerned at first when I removed the black felt cover after three days and the germinated sprouts were a yellow color with odd white roots. I was afraid it was mold, but the instructions said it was root hairs and no need to worry. Once the felt cover was removed, the sprouts turned green in just one day. After six days, I harvested my little crop of beautiful green sprouts. They tasted good too. This would be a great gift for kids and also for adults. Update - I successfully grew a second and third batch of greens but then I stopped for about a month. I think the seeds might have gotten stale during that time, because after 10 days the most recent batch barely germinated. I have them under a growing light, but it doesn’t seem to be helping. I’ll wait a few more days before tossing them out.

its easy to grow, easy to follow instruction, but the instruction shows there is a lid made of bamboo that has half holes on the center of both side at the end of the lid, theres none, just the black fabric like cover, i reached out to the company and havent heard from them. the mat they say is washable.. i gently pull the remaining stems and washing it is horrible.. just rinsing the mat almost dissolved in the water, separating, and created holes it cant be used again as the claim is that it can be re use after washing. the bamboo where the white tray sit on is just for looks, there is no bottom. overall im not satisfied, its overpriced, its cheaper to buy micro greens in store

This was so fun and easy. Ready to plant again. When we harvested our little greens I placed them in a damp paper towel in a ziplock bag in the fridge and this kept them really fresh. I put them on everything I made breakfast, lunches and dinner!
