Q: water repellent? I bought these as rain pants, not quick drying adventure pants, will they work for this, in pouring rain?

They are not water repellent at all. Any and all water would immediately soak into the pants. However, they are a very thin material and dry super fast. I primarily wear them for really hot weather when I must wear pants. They are not suitable for extremely cold weather nor will they keep you dry.

Q: What's the difference between Medium and Medium Regular?

Nothing that I know of! Medium length is regular to me and long just means longer!
