Accurate reading, compact and light weight
First of all- DONT FORGET TO SWITCH FROM 220 TO 120 VOLTS near the main power input connector, you will only get about 6 amps if you run 120 volts and leave the switch in 220. No damage to the unit will happen (at least not on mine lol), but you will only get half rated power.Review: I was not expecting much from this power supply since it was from China and not very expensive. When i opened the box, i was surprised to see a decent set of meter leads as well as a set of alligator clips. The unit is about 1/3 the size and weight of my current (and ancient!) 32vdc 6amp power supply. This unit worked very good, i like the blue display, it is clear and easy to read. The adjustments are smooth and easy to set with course and fine adjust for both voltage and amps. I tested with my calibrated Fluke 289 and a large 28v 250 watt light bulb. I was happy with the results, the readings were very close if not dead on with my fluke. The fluke did fluctuate a little, but on average everything was pretty accurate. What else can i say, its a great little power supply and i almost doubled my amps for a lot less bench space and weight. Highly recommend this unit. This power supply was a gift, but i would definitely use my own money to buy this unit. I might buy a second unit for my small avionics shop since it is so small and light weight. Very happy with the power supply.

Dual voltage/switch a winner
Excellent little unit for projects on my sail boat. Size (Small) and dual voltage was key in making the purchase decision, because I need flexibility with respect to supply voltage at ports visited. I kept the foam packing for safe stowing when not in use. First use was to calibrate some shunts. Worked well.

Dead on arrival. Sent sparks flying.
Made sure the device was set to the correct voltage. Plugged in the cord and turned it on. Lights came on but never registered a voltage. Fan came on. Started doing some research to figure out if there was doing something wrong and sparks came flying out of the back fan and it made a horrible noise. Scared the crap out of me. Obviously unplugged it immediately. Clearly defective out of the box.

Does the job
Use to power an electrolysis tank. Works great and holds voltage and amps constant.

Product basically okay, but seller does not understand their product and user needs.
The basic unit is nice. It is small and performs well. However, there are issues. First the instructions are worthless. They describe using the control knobs with identifying numbers and have them all wrong. Their translation to English is terrible. And then, the wire leads are a problem: The one with alligator clips has a plug that is not a solid connection to the wire and although it will work initially, it is clear that it will loosen and make intermittent contact in the future. Appropriate soldering will resolve this. Then, the leads with probes have a plastic sleeve over the plug that must be cut off in order to use it unless you remove the screw-on tightener nuts and slide the sleeve directly over the brass threaded terminal. This is all very stupid. They could have eliminated these issues with some thinking and no increased cost.

Great value, could use finer adjustments
I bought one, liked it, bought a second one. It would be nice if the coarse and fine voltage adjustment knobs were more precise, and had a pointer so you know where in the range it is. The power readout, which I did not expect, is a nice bonus.

very good
I recommend it very good

Accessories are well built, accurate meter, and smaller size w/out heating issues
This power supply works great for what I need it to do. I mostly do a bunch of restoration so I needed this to send current through a solution to get rust off of it. The power supply is surprisingly well packed and it did not have any dents or damage when taking it out. From what I can tell it has a decent set of meter leads and a set of alligator clips. The alligator clips clip on pretty well and hold pretty well. This is a great thing to have if you are testing devices and such. The unit is not too big or heavy making it easy to store. It provides a good amount of power so make sure you have the 220 and 110 set correctly before you power on the device. You need to do this prior to turning it on. It does not change if you switch it while it is one from what I can tell. This unit worked pretty well. The one thing I really like about it is the blue display. It is not as hard to read as the red one and is better on my eyes. It is not difficult to learn or making adjustments. It runs pretty smoothly and easy to adjust for both voltage and amps. The knobs are sturdy but not extremely hard to adjust. I tested with my voltage meter and it works fine. I also tested it by electrifying chemicals to remove rust. It works pretty well and I was happy with the results. When testing with the voltage meter, the readings were very accurate. The nice thing is that this unit is smaller than most units but still produces a good amount of power. The device can get a bit warm and it does have a little noise to it but it does not get extremely hot. I would definitely recommend this unit. This power supply works well and for what you need it to. The accessories very high quality so you do not have to worry about it fraying or breaking. The power supply has a good shell so you do not have to worry about it breaking. It is also very accurate so you do not have to worry about it outputting too much power just make sure you have 220 and 110 set correctly.
