I was shocked to find that this thing actually has length! Often, these toy canes and staffs are super short. This one has 4 different foot-long pieces that all screw in to connect to eachother. Yes, it's a cheap plastic toy and certainly wouldn't bear any weight at all. But for a costume, it's exactly what you want. Very lightweight, easy to take apart and put together, and TALL.

I like the portability of the screw-together staff pieces, but it needed to be at least one or two sections longer. The cobra head looked like a cheap yellow color when it arrived. I repainted it gold and clear-coated it. Much better. Still, a decent value. Just be willing to do some mods to fit your purpose.

Like many other reviewers here, I used this staff for a Jafar costume. It arrived very quickly. It comes in several parts that are easily assembled by twisting them together. It can be bent and broken if it is handled too roughly, but the quality is more than fair when the cheap price point is considered. I used it for several stage plays and rehearsals, and it held up fine. If you are thinking of buying this staff, than I'll tell you the same thing that Jafar told Iago- "the idea has merit."

Incomplete product.

Used this for a Jafar costume. We added more length to it with a PVC. I also painted the eyes red with nail polish. It was light weight and it worked perfectly our costume.

Shorter Than I thought. Although I am 6’1”. Gave to a friend and they loved it
