As fans of sudoku in this house I was intrigued but this Iron & Glory Deluxe Wooden Sudoku Puzzle Game. The wooden sudoku comes beautifully boxed which makes it feel like a luxury product, well, it is for the nearly £50 price! It is said to be extra large but it's not very big at all, it's about the size I'd expect at around 20cm. There are number tiles which are kept inside the wooden box which keeps them safe but I do wish there was a clasp on the side of the box to ensure the box doesn't fall open if not in the card box it came in. The tiles sit nicely on the lid which is made into a grid. They are easy to get in and out which makes the game easy to play and they are clear to read. In order to start the puzzle you have to follow a diagram inside. This is a little time consuming but if the numbers were sorted into the boxes it would make it a lot quicker so I might do that next time. There are three levels of difficulty for the puzzle starters but it's a shame for such an expensive product that there are only a few starters. I guess I could find them from any sudoku game online or in a book but the point of this is that it's not online or in a book! I enjoyed using this wooden board to play sudoku but it did mean it took a little longer to do as I had to find the numbers I wanted from the tiles. This is a beautiful item and a fun game, it would make a lovely gift for puzzle fans of all ages but I think it is overpriced for what it is. A gorgeous product but I'd probably only pay £30 max for it.

I believe that if you're lloking at this item you already know what sudoku is and how to play it. What you don't know is how awesome this items is. The craftsmanship and quality is on another level. The wood box looks premium and feels nice to the touch. The size is big enough. I also love the black number pieces. They also look very premium. I guarantee hours of fun with this set and for that price is a steal. Definitely a worthy investment if you love this game as much as I do.
