This saved my life when it was Summer time. I had an air-conditioner but the old parts were falling apart 😭. These parts fit perfectly in my window. I did have to watch a tutorial or two to figure out the assemble.

Excellent!!!!! Does a good job. Good product. My husband put it in the window was great hose never disconnected. Only note is that in our window we taped the side to keep it flush to the window. We have an odd size window.

I wasn't sure if 3 or 4 stars was better so rounded up. Overall, the kit is doing what I needed it to do, but I definitely had to modify it more than I expected. I knew going in that the hose was gonna be two tenths of an inch bigger then I needed, but I knew I could make that work. And I did with a little bit of tape. What I didn't expect was for the part that goes in the window to be as flimsy as it is. On the plus side, it fit my window really easily, which was a relief. Because I've had problems with other kits in the past. But the screw, no matter how tight I turned, is not keeping the panels from sliding, if they are pushed. To be fair, I am hopeful this will not be a problem, but as you can see from the pictures, I did add a whole bunch of tape to help secure the window unit. I initially added the tape to keep the hose component in the panel as it was falling out, no matter what I did to lock it in. It looked like there were little screw holes on either side, but there were no screws to put in. And I didn't see anything to "clamp" the piece into the panel, as was mentioned in the instructions. So tape it was. There was sealing tape in the kit, but it was completely worthless for my needs, and so I made do with the tape I have. The other thing that surprised me was, although there wasn't a gap on the top of the panel, which was lovely, there was a gap between the bottom of the supplemental panel portion to the window frame. And so I needed to add something there to close up that gap. Especially since there was a definite wobble in the panel when I wa pushing on it during that process of checking it. Tape to the rescue! I bought this unit to stay-in the window because I already had one installed for the day time location of the a/c. That one is in the living room, and I wanted to be able to move the portable unit from room to room, but because I needed to tape it to the window in the living room to seal tge gaps, I needed a second window kit. It was that or by a second a/c. So overall, I'm happy so far. I will update if that changes.

I have a Frigidaire portable air conditioner that needed a new hose. I bought this kit and the quality is way better than the original Frigidaire one! The plastic is very thick and sturdy, the hose itself is really heavy duty, not flimsy like the original. The panels finally fit my window properly, the original ones were too short and too wobbly/flimsy, plus they didn't fit the frame properly, it was awkward trying to put them in. The part where the hose attaches to the panels is so much better, the way the connector clicks into place. Solid and no gaps. The panels are easily adjusted with the included screws. The panels are more narrow than the old ones, and sturdier and fit better, all this is important because we were able to leave the ac in during recent high winds. Due to our location and size of the window we use a portable ac to be able to close the window when it gets really windy, the old one was horrible at keeping out the wind. This one is awesome!

Not the best pictures since I took them once I was done with the whole project and stuff was covered but trust me it fit really well and was very sturdy my window vertically was about 44 inches and I put 4 of the covers together to make that length I could a used only three but I made sure to be super study I put the length of them as deep as they can go so they were fully stacked. I added sealant for cracks instead of using that tape which could have worked just wanted it to be fully sealed. Works great there were other smalls gaps in the area where the hose thing connects to the panels but my location is permanent and I epoxied it and those cracks were sealed since i used a bunch of epoxy.

I have an LG 10,200 BTU Portable Air Conditioner model # LP1017WSR that I bought years ago after a hurricane blew threw and left us without power for close to 3 weeks. The unit ran on our generator so we were glad to have it. Our windows slide horizontally. At some point in time after that, I lent the unit to someone for short-term use and they did not take care of it like I would have preferred. It came back with a tear in the hose and the coupler was never to be seen again. I put it in storage until our central A/C started acting up and we couldn't sleep comfortably. (BTW, I wanted a new A/C installed last summer but my spouse said we didn't need one. 84 degrees in the house now and he's afraid of me). I ordered this (5.9") kit for next day delivery. Read the instructions and voila! Fits perfectly and I have a nice cool bedroom till we can do a central change out. Important to note, when they say to rotate the coupler/hose counterclockwise, they mean it. Otherwise, it will not attach, rather it will spin and spin and not secure and you will say potty words. I’m returning this. It doesn’t fit my older portable Ac, Koldfront pac1402w which doesn’t sell on amazon anymore. Bought it in 2017 and just this year the tube broke. I thought this would fit since it was universal 5.9 inches but it doesn’t. The thing is my connector is special and can’t find it anywhere, can’t put any connector on it. So the tube doesn’t fit to the unit. Pops right out no matter what I do. I’m going to have to buy another ac and throw this one in the garbage… Sad

I'm a bit disappointed with the portable AC window unit. I bought it for the air exhaust fan, and it fits well. However, I want to adjust the hole to the middle of the window because the new cabinet is too close to the window. If there were an extra hole at the end, the panel could be fixed, and the hole would align in the middle. I attempted to create a hole for the seal panels myself, and it worked in the end., but I think this should be designed to allow more combinations.

Works like a charm. Highly recommend. Fits any 5.9” hose attachment to air conditioner. Window attachment assembles very easily. A child could put it together.

Fits well, not as long as I thought (for some reason what I measured was longer than what was delivered). for being a 'window door kit' - it's not a door kit at all.. don't be caught out like I was (my fault for shopping when hot and tired) - it does NOT fit sliding doors.

You get what you buy with this purchase. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because it would be nice for there to be a connector on each end, rather than just "screwing" the hose into an endpoint. If you fix this somewhere, you'll have to remove the whole thing due to no quick disconnect feature.
