Red Lantern 27" Tall Hokkaido End Table Shoji Lamp, Rosewood

Really nice table. Good quality all around. Took less than five minutes to set up. Takes a standard bulb so you can get nice soft light or white light out of this. Or . . .or you could put a blue light or a black light or any color light you want. This looks awesome in the game room. Handy drawer underneath is functional to hold a decent amount of stuff. Great purchase.

I was excited about getting these. I will make this short, they are cheap, and horrible painting job. You can see the fabric through the sides. I ordered Rosewood, and they are a bright red. You can see the streaks in the paint. Just refer to pictures. There are better choices out there at cheaper prices.

We love these lamps they are so beautiful and very high quality. They are also so easy to put together maybe 5 minutes. We find them to be a very stylish end table and relaxing lighting. A BIG SHOUT OUT AMAZON FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO!!!

The corner of the tabletop was missing the outerlayer of wood, as well as having been crushed downwards, 4 panels are also missing from the back side. The paper panels or chips of wood were not found inside the box-in-a-box-in-a-box, indicating it was damaged before it was shipped. careless. Aside from the terrible quality control, it does look nice once set up and pressed firmly to the wall with a decoration hiding the corner's damage. It was incredibly easy to set-up. It arrived pre-assembled, just pulled it out and set the top on and was done. the light gives off a nice soothing warm glow, and the drawer is a perfect size to store my incense, a book, and my handgun. would have been an easy 5 star flaws aside.

I purchased my first 19" Hokkaido End Table Nightstand Japanese lantern Floor Lamp - BLACK about a month ago. I received it about three days after I placed the order and I was very impressed with the overall quality of the night stand especially considering its relatively low price tag. I have since then purchased two more black night stands and now have one placed in my living room/entertainment center as it gives off an ambient light that doesn't interfere with my viewing pleasure. The other two have been placed on either side of my bed and have a contemporary lamp, phone a digital atomic talking clock which does not light up when the snooze bar on top of the unit is depressed giving me an English speaking female voice telling me the time and or day/date depending on one or two pressings of the snooze bar. I like this set-up because it is quite enough not to wake someone sleeping on the opposite side of the bed, in essence its perfection. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is in need of a quality bed side table. You don't run across items such as this every day. My only complaint is I needed to raise the stand a couple of inches because it was originally slightly too short. I would suggest this to anyone searching for a quality nightstand that doesn't break the bank. Sincerely, Adrian Alexis

The tables are beautiful and what I wanted, but had to return them because of Quality Control problems with the manufacturer. One table had a torn screen and both table tops I ordered were damaged. One had a huge scratch across a corner that was drawn over with a black sharpie and bumpy filled drill holes that looked like it had been cut for something that mounts on a wall. I wouldn't have cared if it was on the bottom of the table, but it was in plain sight. The other top looked like it wasn't fully sanded or they put something on top of it and pulled it off before it was dry. I am leaving 3 stars, because I don't think it had anything to do with Oriental Furniture itself, but more with the manufacturer in the Philippines. Packing was good and everything was secure. I looked up Oriental Furniture reviews and overall they seem to be courteous and respond to their customers issues. I will probably buy them again, but waiting some time for a different production run and hopefully Oriental can resolve the shoddy workmanship with finishing and painting overseas.

Way too small for the larea I needed to fill

Bought these for use as end tables in a small guest room to avoid using large lamps. The red color is great, assembly went well, and the lamps are sturdy. We linked the lamps to a Lutron dimmer switch to create ambiance-no issues with the dimmer. We are using soft white bulbs for a warmer look-LED bulbs were super bright and just didn’t look right. No matter what bulb you use, you can see it through the paper, but it has not bothered any of our guests. It’s been almost a year since purchase and have received many compliments from friends and family. Glad we bought them!

Beautiful table-lamp! Packaging was done well to make sure that the lamp wasn't damaged in transit, which is always a concern with expensive items.

Very good quality, but came damaged in shipment. The company was very quick to resolve the issue. A lot smaller than I had expected.

Cord & switch needs a bit of finesse to place in a convenient spot but also out of view because it isn’t particularly elegant, but the lamp table looks great so far! It adds a soft light in the evenings and provides ambiance.

Probably the best deal I've ever gotten from Amazon and that's saying something because I always get great deals! This night stand is well built. I would've bought two if I had the room!
