Amazing Laptop :)
Beautiful, love this laptop! Amazing tech for the price. I mainly use this laptop for school and for productivity, boots up websites quickly and able to run multiple tabs with ease. For gaming it’s able to run the games I play in stable low-medium quality, the fan goes off a bit loud but for me personally it’s not a big deal, nor is it distracting. For 8 gb of ram only 6 is available but I’m planning on upgrading and adding another 8 gb sometime in the future. For media and entertainment, I use it to watch movies on streaming sites and the quality is very good, no backlight bleed at all during dark screens but results might vary for others. For the price (I paid $800 after tax) it’s a great laptop for students and casual gamers, highly recommend 👍

Great Laptop for the price.
So far, I like everything about this laptop, with one exception. The quality of the screen, keyboard, and components is great.I hope it stays that way. But, the setup procedure for first time use was difficult. The touch pad did not work properly. So I had to call Acer support line twice.Eventually they came up with a fix for a known problem.Since then, everything has worked.

Thank you Acer!!
I had purchased a more expensive laptop from a very well known company and it arrived defective. On the recommendation of others, as well as based on reviews, I purchased this awesome laptop. It is, without a doubt, the best (and least expensive) of the last three laptops I've owned!

Great for the price
I'm using this for MSFS 2020. It's been working great around 20 fps on medium quality. Battery runs out fast on this sim and the machine gets hot fast soo I use a cooling tray and the internal fan doesn't kick on at all. I used recommended setting on sim forums to set it up. I've used adobe creative suite no problem. I have updated to 32 gb of ram and performance improved dramatically.

I will never buy another Acer, this thing is useless
I got this after I accidentally bricked my 3 year old Acer, which had been working perfectly well before I broke it :( I picked this one out since it seemed like a good balance between a moderate upgrade while still being reasonably priced. I'm not a gamer, but I do run a lot of resource intensive software. So far it's been fine. Nothing earth-shattering, but I will say that I'm used to a certain level of speed and capacity so my bar is already set pretty high. This little guy doesn't disappoint (especially after you get rid of all the pre-installed bloatware), but doesn't seem very different than my old AcerThe one thing that drives me CRAZY is the volume. It's too quiet and rather tinny. At max volume, it's only about 2/3 of the volume my old one could produce, and even that I found a tad low. I often use my laptop as a TV in the kitchen when I'm cooking, and it's very hard to hear this one over the basic sounds of cooking. I guess I could get plug-in speakers, but the whole point of a laptop is its portability.Overall, I wish I'd sprung for something with a little more mojo, I kinda wish I still had my old Acer.Update: I hate this stupid thing, I’m so angry I spent money on it. My old Acer was so trouble-free, this one is such a drama queen. I use the touchpad, no mouse, and the cursor is constantly jumping all over the place depending on if I breathe the wrong way somewhere on the top of the laptop, or if there is not a constant, solid base under the laptop. (So using it on my lap is a PIA.) Double-clicking only works about half the time, otherwise it just ends up clicking random places as the cursor jumps. (Yes, I've tried tweaking the touchpad settings.) Citrix crashes all the time, never had a problem with my old Acer with Windows 10. Sound quality is horrible, which is a common complaint and I've tried all the solutions I've googled, to no avail. It won’t recognize any headphone mics you plug in, and there are forums littered with dead bodies of people trying unsuccessfully to resolve the issue. This thing is a POS.
