Caught it on discount. Worth every penny. Smooth, fast, drag has satisfying clicks most importantly.

This reel is made with surprisingly good components for its price. It's as smooth as any other spinning reel I've used, and like most okuma reels, it's reliable when it gets really cold.The drag is the real winning feature though. If you're into finesse fishing with light line, there's not enough that can be said for the carbon fiber and stainless steel drag that this reel comes with, and okuma should start advertising it more, because zero startup inertia is HUGE when you hook a real monster on light tackle. You'd have to pay at least $200 to get a Shimano or diawa reel that came equipped with the same quality bits.

Good reel. Handle grip did not stand up to conditions. The rubber piece wore off within 6 months.

Love it never have a problem with it

Been using it for a few years now. I pull in 10 pound carp and it handles them like a champ. 21 inch trout aren't a challenge and it handles accidental abuse well.

Great reel

This is advertised as a high speed high gear ratio reel, but the retrieval speed is the same as other models, it is also poorly designed, the bail distance to the rod is so close it constantly smacks my knuckles while retrieving.. and the handles design hurts to use it also has the seam where they attached the rubber on the handle and it constantly was cutting my hand. I bought this reel for steelhead, the only good thing I found about this reel is the drag is somewhat smooth, not great, but not bad.
