920D Custom S Style Wiring Harness - E Johnson CRL CTS Vitamin Q

If only I could give zero stars...1. No invoice, order number or any indication of the company itself or any of its procedures (eg. returns) was included in the box.2. No instructions of any kind. I am very familiar with guitar wiring so not a big deal for me, but any amateur would be completely lost on how to install the harness.3. This is the BIG one. Someone put their initials on the harness, presumably indicating that it was checked for quality. Yet, the primary wire, the one that sends the output of the pickups from the five-way switch to the volume and tone controls - was simply NOT THERE. I had to desolder the jack and disassemble the guitar. After looking through Stratocaster wiring diagrams (which I had to search for and download since, as mentioned, they did not bother to include any) and comparing the diagram to the harness, I discovered that there was this missing wire. Fortunately, I had some spare wire of the same color and type, so I created a replacement. The whole point of buying this harness was to save tine and a get a job out more quickly, but instead I was delayed by hours and missed a shipping window, which annoyed my customer. What a pain. I've learned my lesson, avoid this seller!

The small jumper wire was missing. I am not an expert at this stuff so it took me a while to figure it out. Once I added that wire, everything worked fine. I don't understand why that wire was not installed in the first place.

I love buying and using 920d products. If you ever have an issue you can always contact them by phone or email and they will assist. I put this in my new pick guard for my mim strat. It sounds awesome. Thanks guys
