Carb was a direct fit and mower fired up instantly.

First of all I couldn't believe how quickly this item shipped. Very prompt service!Prior to it's arrival I viewed a number of youtube videos on how to install this item. It looked fairly simple to do.Upon receipt I was pleasantly surprised to find that the carburetor was a better one than what it was replacing because it had a high speed adjustment which is great.I took my time and installed it in a half hour or so. Filled the tank with gas, primed the carburetor with the prime bulb and the engine started on the third pull. After the engine warmed up I fine tuned the high speed by adjusting the mixture screw on the bottom of the bowl. It was super easy (hint, always wait until it has had time to really warm up prior to doing any fine adjustment).So I ended up with a yard vacuum that a friend gave me for free because it didn't run that now runs like it is brand new. I couldn't be happier.

This product was exactly what I ordered with all the gaskets and hardware needed. The install was simple and it fired up after 3 pulls and after running it a couple times fires on the first pull. The reason for only 4 stars is because it would have been nicer to see instructions for all the parts, based on the model I needed. After a few minutes I realized that this is a universal kit for several Tecumseh engines and they provided everything needed. Very reasonable on the price and they shipped it almost as fast as Prime shipping.

I received the carburetor very quickly via USPS. Item was as described and was an exact replacement for the OEM part. I had a little trouble priming the carb with the primer bulb so I used starting fluid for the first start up. Motor started and ran well. After a few minutes I shut the motor down, let it sit for a few minutes, and then restarted it. The air/fuel mixture needs some adjustment as it runs great at full throttle but not as smoothly at idle. Mixture adjustment instructions would have been a nice "value add" had they been included. All in all I'm pleased, especially for the price.

Awesome purchase. I bought an older lawnmower from an auction for $35.00 and was aware it had some trouble. I never considered buying a new carburetor until I found this by accident while looking for a carburetor kit. I thought the price was pretty incredible so why not. Great choice. The old lawnmower flashed up on the second pull and has run flawless since. Lots of people garbage their mowers and spend hundreds on a new one when it's a cheap simple fix. Anyone with a couple of wrenches could install this and bring new life to their old machine. It comes with all the gaskets and pieces to do a professional installation. Great value and good quality.

The carburetor bolted right in and was an exact fit.

Price is great, but the float needle valve (with rubber tip) doesn't seal tight to stop the bowl from overfilling. Didn't try installing a standard seal with all metal needle valve yet, just rebuilt my original carb to get going for now.

I have a Sears leaf vacuum I found in the trash, when I tried to start it it would only run with starter fluid. I took the carb apart and found it all gunked up. Sears wanted $80.00 for a new carb, and I saw this one for $19. I installed in in minutes, and primed it 5 times, and it started on one pull. I did not have to adjust any thing.
