I like this oil! I have sensitive mature skin. It does not make me feel drawn or tight. It soothes and smoothes. I really like it. The scent is pleasant but since this is a genuine natural chemical free carrier oil, it doesn't smell like strawberries as in commercial strawberry scented lotions and shampoos. Those products have artificial strawberry chemical perfume added. This has a good scent, just don't expect to open the bottle and smell fields of fresh ripe strawberries. What you DO get is all the healthful goodness of fresh ripe strawberries. I first learned of this carrier oil in the newly released new edition book I learned about strawberry seed oil in this brand new book, from Amazon. I used this for my 4c natural hair. Kept my hair moist and well oiled. Didn't care for the smell. However, I would purchase again and try to mix it with a fragrance.

Ever since I contracted Lyme with Morgellon’s I’ve been looking for a product that: a) soothes my skin, b) heals the sores, c)stops the itching, d) helps remove the fibers, e) moisturizes. This product does all that. It is not a cure, but it certainly helps. It has anti viral, antibacterial, antiinflammatory and organic lipids properties that don’t seem to egg on the processes that causes fibers to form. Highly recommend it over the numerous others I’ve tried:coconut, oil, grape seed, sesame, avocado, emu, castor, aloe Vera, or any over the counter anti bacterial, antifungal, steroid or anti aging cream and any of the essential oils. It is not sticky or greasy on your skin and it immediately softens and also helps the skin kick out the hair follicle blockages. Helps with cracks in lichen planar and lichen sclerosis skin and softens the facial skin as well without aggravating acne. My first bottle was only $9 but since it is a product from overseas, Amazon hasn’t stocked in warehouse, so my next bottles were ~$24.00 each. Shipping takes awhile because among other things it goes through customs. But the cost and wait are worth it and both will likely lessen if more people order from Amazon. It is also a non animal product and is used to as animal feed in Middle Eastern countries because they have so much - so it is eco friendly as well. I am trying date seed coffee next to see if internally it has the same benefits.

I heard that this was a great product for the hands as well as other dry skin areas. It might well be, but the smell is somewhat sickening to me. I tried it twice, and strangely enough, I thought I saw improvement in such a short time. I have ordered some white cotton gloves to wear when I put this on, and I think that might help a lot. The Mongongo nut seems to be a smelly nut so be prepared.

I waited for this oil, and waited, and finally it arrived in all of its healing and softening glory. Out of all of the oils — sea buckthorn, pomegranate, broccoli seed, meadow foam seed, and so on — this palm date oil is the one I can feel and see anti-aging effects from the most. Generously sized bottle. No discernible scent. Thick and fast-absorbing. It’s incredible for face, neck, and hands.
