OnePlus 8 5G UW 128GB 8GB Verizon - Polar Silver (Renewed)

Came looking brand new. No scratches or dings anywhere. Does not come with the Warp Charger, which is a bit of a let down with how expensive even the off brand ones are. This isn't the worst deal though. I have a couple fast charging bricks from previous devices laying around, and they all have supported rapid charging with the phone, which is still fairly quick. The phone itself is snappy compared to my previous phone (razer phone 2). Pictures are by far superior in every way to that phone. From full charge, I get home with 40-50% battery left even with quite a bit of videos, maps, spotify usage. Without a screen protector, the fingerprint reader is flawless and instant. Biggest negative though is the lack of cases and screen protectors for the device. Case wise after a couple purchases I landed on a $8 ozero tpu case which fits it perfectly. The volume rocker cover is a bit longer so it can cover a couple sub models of the phone, but I haven't had any issues so far. Screen protectors, I'm still hunting. The current one I have fits well, but it muddles the fingerprint reader so it takes quite a few attempts for it to work even if you registered that finger numerous times. Turning off the finger print reader animation increased its success rate. I think itll work better with a film protector rather than glass, as the glass is displacing the light too much when trying to read my fingerprint.

This phone has beaten all of my expectations. I am amazed how smooth and easy oxygen os is on this device. I'm also pleasantly surprised by the fact that this refurb unit seems brand new. I haven't obsessed over every inch of the phone, but it seems pretty close to perfect. The battery isn't awesome but I always run it at full specs like the 90 refresh rate. I think I'm a oneplus customer for a long time to come now, and I also won't be afraid of using refurb equipment s well.

Phone seems to work as it should, but it is the TMobile version. The phone described and pictured (and the phone I intended to buy) is the Verizon model, says 5G on the bottom back, and buttons are in slightly different locations (Verizon OnePlus 8 phone cases won't work with TMobile OnePlus 8 phones because of this) . Phone I was shipped is the TMobile phone, which is not what is pictured or advertised. If you intend to purchase a Verizon phone, to use on a Verizon network, with Verizon accessories, I recommend you keep looking, as I got the wrong phone. I contacted the seller yesterday, waiting to see if this will be resolved, but I wanted to warn other buyers, especially if they're in a time crunch.

This phone looked awesome, igot it all set up and even put the screen protector on, unfortunately even with the imei checking out and other customers claiming they got this to work on visible i was not able to get this to work on the visible network because it is locked to verizon. Even though visible is a subsidiary of verizon neither has the ability to unlock the phone because according to verizon even though it is their policy to unlock all phones after 60days the phone can only be unlocked on the account it was originally issued so even if i created a verizon account for 60-90days the phone could not be unlocked for use, visible said they simply dont have the ability at there disposal and verizon is required to enable the phone. So to the verizon customer that gets the phone i put back in the box, know it was well taken care of and enjoy the free high end screen protector. Dont worry fingerprint scanner worked scary well and theres no bubbles at all, i pray im so lucky on the replacement device. This was a great phone other than the service issue. Just cuz visible is verizon doesnt mean it works.

Apparently, this is a common problem with these phones. It constantly becomes disconnected from home (or any) Wi-Fi. If you need to use the internet, don't get this phone.

Turns out that crashy UI it is a known problem for one plus. Overall good phone for the money. But expect that it will freeze from time to time. Don't like fingerprint reader, it fails to appear on screen in some scenarios. Really hard to use with password manager.
