Perfect direct replacement pigtail for Kia. Used when original connector has been damaged or cut off to service A/C by jumpering the compressor during service. On a new compressor, female fitting comes attached to bracket tab on the new compressor. Male lead connects back to original vehicle wiring harness. Full insulated design protects wiring.

This is a definite must when you need to replace your car’s AC clutch wire. The connector for my 2004 Kia Sorento has been damaged; I don’t know how, but they say the OEM connector is junk. So upon doing some research, I stumbled across this product from APDTY through Amazon. Though this pigtail does not give you crimp connectors, the end of the wires are pre-stripped for convenience. They provide a good length of wire in case you mess up. I thought that and the pre-stripped wire-ends were a plus. Installation was easy if you’re handy with basic wiring repair; if not, there are PLENTY of video tutorials out there on how to repair your electrical wires properly. *PLEASE NOTE: Always disconnect both your battery terminals to avoid serious injury. Accidents do happen when you least expect them* After the repair, the AC compressor clutch is good to go!

it worked for my project, air conditioning on cart

I called a ton of shops to try to get my ac clutch wired back up and no one said they could do it. This popped up in and saved me a trip to the junk yard or from buying a whole harness! Tapped it into the oil pressure sender and now I have ac again!

This was connected to a 2006 Kia Sorento Air con pup, the original had crumbled through age, I only fitted the part from the loom to the pump/compresser and ot fitted and connected perfectly, great product.
