I bought this after reading the positive reviews and I am glad I did! I lost my lens cap into the abyss of my recliner the day I got my camera, and needed a cap ASAP since we were leaving for vacation soon. It’s a solid lens cap and fits very snugly on my Sony A6300 - even better than the Sony cap it came with that I’ll go as far as to call “flimsy”. My friend purchased the Sony lens cap and the two just don’t compare. I feel bad that he spent twice as much for the name brand one and I’ll probably never reach for it unless I lose this one. Save yourself a few bucks and get this one before you buy another just because of the brand ;)

Perfect fit, awesome price, nice and secure. What more can you ask? The hole for looping the retaining lanyard through was a bit small, so I twisted a 1/8th inch drill bit with my fingers to enlarge the hole and make it a little easier to get the loop through. But I probably didn't have to.

Cap works but a sticker that is attached to the back of it and connects the string to the cap fell off after a week or so.

Fits perfectly, and protects! The strap with the tape isn't very strong and after 2 days the tape wouldn't hold anymore rendering it useless. But there is nothing wrong with the lens cap and that's the reason you are purchasing this. This is for the a6000,a6300,a6500 kit lens.

too small for Sony Alpha 6000 as claimed but quality is good I returned but never received my $ back

Worked on my A6000 as described. I opted to used the elastic lanyard to go around my lenses instead of the additional string one. The hole for attaching a string lanyard is really small and required a small needle to assist in navigating the string. Overall, product works as advertised and would buy again if needed.
