My daughter loves reading it and gets fascinated everytime. Once learnt, she loves to flaunt it and share the fact with her friends.Overall a worth it purchase, I bought it on her 6th birthday.

Kids loved it well worth the money

Full of amazing facts (not all of which I knew) and lively illustrations. Children of six, and my grandson is a prime example, love to tell you things. With this book, he'll be able to read them for himself, and I know he'll wear my ears out telling me all his new facts. Excellent value too.

My daughter has picked up reading really well (although it isn't 100% yet but doing rather well) she sat with her older brother with his book of facts and read them together for ages and rather enjoy reading it

I've just bought the books for 6, 7 and 9 year olds in this series for my friend's children. The facts are fascinating and beautifully presented and I, in my mid 30s, have learnt an awful lot from them. I am, however, bitterly disappointed by the quality of the binding on the book for 6 year olds, as the pages have completely come away from the spine on the first copy I bought, so I optimistically bought a second copy, as I really want to be able to gift this book, and the same has happened with this copy, only far worse this time, so that the pages have detached from the book. I have been very gently looking through the pages and would not have expected this poor quality from one book, which has been designed, I assume, for a child to leaf through enthusiastically time after time, never mind two copies. I have just seen a reviewer make a similar comment, which is disappointing to realise that mine is not an isolated case.I would give 5 stars for the content, but 1 star would be being generous for its durability and quality. I would buy this book, but realistically I would choose to buy it from a shop where I could see what I was getting before I paid for it.
