I had low expectations for ordering seeds online. Not only do you never know what you're going to get but I don't have a lot of experience starting from seed. I followed the directions on the seed packet and it went really well. I planted 12 and got 7. To me that was more than I figured I'd get. I had 3 seeds ready to push out a sprout the morning after I put them in hot water. I was shocked at how quickly they were sprouting. Most of them had peeked out by day 3.

It started off really good. They started growing, and then they ended up dying, kind of disappointed.And I ended up buying all the plant lights, etc. etc. still didn’t do any good.

Bought for my neighbor with small children and they loved it, recommend for a different thank-you gift!

HAVING A HECK OF A TIME GETTING SEEDS TO SPROUT!! 2 DID THEN DIED. 1 IS NOW STARTING TO COME UP. I HOPE IT HANGS ON. SO FAR NO LUCK WITH THE SEEDS THO I FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS.

I needed a thank you for 2 nurses who recently cared for me before and after a surprise surgery. When we went to deliver them, we were told it was against hospital policy but the novelty of the plants was so great they allowed them and it made the other nurses happy as well. What a positive experience all the way around!

It's not the $20. It's the fact that this gift looks like a five and dime store item.I gave this as a gift and when I watched the recipient open it, I was embarrassed.It's a cheap plastic tiny pot with a seed and a flower(?).Do not show the picture of a plant in the posting. It clearly gives the impression that there is a plant inside which will grow NOTthat there is only a seed!!
