Yes， the mouse can support system under WIndows 8, Windos 10 or later ,Android 5.0or later ,Mac OS X 10.10 or later ,iPad OS or later :)

Q: Will this work for Windows older than stated? And will it work on any tablets.?

It will work on most Windows older than stated as long as that Windows has Bluetooth, but it is not guaranteed. It will work on most Android tablets, not all. I do not know about Apple products.

Q: will this work with a macbook pro mid 2010?

It might but I would not waste your money. I spend more time trying to get it to work properly than I do actually using it. I’m going to be replacing this with something that does not require continuous charging.
