Working better than everything else I've tried
After 8 years of renters it's time to replace the ceramic tile, that's beginning to resemble mosaic. I'm lucky that the sub-floor in this house is quality, solid plywood. I want to remove all the mortar & I was looking at 3 days of knee torture. This stuff popped up while I was looking for an air-scraper.I poured some of this liquid in a smaller container, the brushed it right on top or the mortar. I brushed this stuff on about a square foot of mortar, which soaked it up quickly. I was hoping it would soak through to the mortar in contact with the floor, so I put up some strong resistance to follow the man-code of not waiting, and just start wailing on the grout with my framing hammer (á la the opening scene of "2001 A Space Odyssey"). After a while the mortar was a kind of chalky-white, and when I hit my 1½" chisel, the mortar started coming off in pieces up to palm-sized.This stuff isn't exactly cheap, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than two new knees.

No it wont disolve all concrete; yes it works great for cleaning up thin, haze, mistakes
I get the impression that people think you can make a product that will just eat through any cementatious product of any thickness or hardness. This isn't possible even with the strongest acids. But this stuff does disolve thinset. I'm totally impressed. It's non-toxic, non-corrosive, and yes you may need a couple of bottles depending on how much you need to dissolve, but this works better than a wire-brush or razor or all sorts of other options. So know what you're getting here: if you left mortar all over a bunch of flagstone, no this wont help that much. If you have thinset on tile or stacked stone because you're not a great mason, this works impressively well. But you might need a couple of bottles.

Gets cement residue off siding
When my new porch was poured, residue got on the house siding. This product removed it without damaging the siding. I will need to retouch the paint but it looks better.

Did not work at all.

Does not work that well
This is not a spray and wipe. I used a wire brush and a bit of concrete came off. Not enough for the efforts that I put in it. I ended up buying muratic acid, it worked a lot better.

Works well
I was shocked at how fast it dissolved big clumps of concrete that had been on my truck for months, without damaging the paint.

Works great!
I bought this to remove a big ugly splotch of concrete from the newly paved road in front of my house. I have heard that muriatic acid would work for this application, but I was afraid to use it! This stuff is not dangerous, and it dissolved most of the concrete after a couple of applications. After I applied it, I let it sit for a bit then scrubbed with a wire brush before washing away. I would definitely recommend this product.
