UPANBIKE Bike Crankset with Bottom Bracket for Road Bike Mountain Bicycle 8 9-Speed M430 Crank Set

Got one of these crank set for my rockhopper worth getting good upgrade had trouble getting old shimano bottom bracket out tho looks the part now nice an smooth great price also as I had a raceface crack an bottom bracket on last bike an this a cheap upgrade

So my old school cranck bearing decided to blowup so needed a replacement and upgrade, did a bid of digging and found this.Simple to fit, reasonably light compared to my old crankset, nice and smooth no grind or noises. One thine I'd say is there's no plug for the chain side in the middle so there's a gaping hole we're mud and dirt would happily invade.Other than that pretty good so far, hope it stands the test of time and abuse.

I've just fitted one of these to my Trek mountain bike with new chain and it seems to work perfectly

Dont buy as the left pedal arm fell off my mountain bike, only 4 months old. Wasnt able to fasten using the 2 bolts so had to replace it costing £90. As seen from the photo, the groves are too small and have eventually worn away so there's no longer a secure contact

I boought this crank and BB for my ageing 08 Rockhopper as I wanted a hollow BB but asosr will know parts for these spec bikes are getting harder to find. This arrived around a month ago and as I unpacked it I did notice the quality isn't great on these, fitting was straight forward but on my third ride I somehow managed to put a big dent in my second cog! That's not something I'd ever managed to do with my old Shimano set up but it bent back just as easy as it bent I the first place so yea the metal is a little weak so keep that in mind! Other than that it seems to be working ok so far.
