LIFX have the best smart bulbs BAR NONE. Color saturation is next level.
LIFX bulbs are the best, but only the new ones that work with HomeKit. The App is very well set up and works seamlessly if you have the newer bulbs. If the bulbs are HomeKit able, then you shouldn't have any issues at all. The sheer amount of lighting you can do with these bulbs is highly impressive. Very receptive company as well.

Amazing light bulb!
Bedtime can be a struggle when you have two little ones that are afraid of the dark. I don’t like them falling asleep with the tv on but I have been making exceptions lately to make bedtime easier, mostly for myself! I would love to read stories in bed to help them relax and unwind, but our night light is too dim and our regular light is way to bright! Now with the Lifx smarter light the kids can pick a relaxing color scheme from my phone so we can read our stories in bed and let the relaxing lights help us fall asleep! Yes you read that right! Download the app and you can control if from your smartphone! I can adjust the brightness of which ever color they choose whenever needed to make the transition from story time to bedtime relaxing and easy! I can even set a timer so I don’t have to worry about turning the light out! . And if that wasn’t cool enough, this light bulb kills bacteria! Yup that’s right! I love this thing! My daughter is asking for one in every room in the house! 😂 I think I agree with her!

I need more of these.
These are the best smart lightbulbs I have tried. The light is definitely brighter but it also seems to be richer in quality than either hue or wiz. I am not certain how much the sanitizing lights do, but anything I can use to kill germs these days is a good thing. I would say that the two things I am less thrilled about are that, although the app is really good, there isn’t a great selection of lighting themes in the app. No theme libraries. If you want something different, you have to create it yourself. The second thing is the price. I do believe they cost more than hue. Some of the better advantages to the LIFX bulbs are they are brighter than the competition and give a better quality of light. They also don’t require a hub, which I discovered with hue that it has its good points and bad points. They are easy to set up. There’s a small folded document in the box with a sticker on it which you will need to set it up. Although there are other ways to do it, scanning the barcode when prompted is the easiest setup I have seen with the exception of apple. I have am eventually going to replace all the hue and wiz bulbs in my home with these. I highly recommend these.

Easy to connect, navigate, and give your space the look and feel you want
Love the sanitizing feature but the color options and brightness take the cake. It gives just the right touch it needs to complete my space to make it my own. I can always rely on LIFX to add just the right amount of personalization the space needs.

So far they are perfect
Well nothing is perfect but these are working great. No issues other than setup which took longer than I expected. But I was able to get the color I wanted right and they look great. I bought 2 packs of two for my kitchen. They are brighter than I needed which is great as I can lower them and make them a warmer color. Much better than the old florescence bulbs.

Works as advertised. Easy setup
Comes in a two pack and colors are across the board. App makes it easy to adjust and has a few special effects settings. Works well with Aleza once you set it up. Overall very satisfied.

THE best smart lighting BAR NONE
I’m a huge fan of LIFX light products. The regular color ones are slightly superior to the outrageously expensive Phillips Hue ones, while this “Clean” version is a complete home run. I would imagine that the fact that it needs to be able to produce “near ultraviolet” light requires hardware that is a bit more capable. Because I can honestly say these lights reach hues that the “Phillips Hue” ones can only dream of. (Pun intended.). I also do like the Nanoleaf ones. In general areas where I do not need “The Best”, I go with Nanoleaf. Wherever I need something somewhat better, either the regular LIFX or the Phillips Hue, and in those special places where color accuracy and VOLUME are paramount, THESE are the ones to get. Yes, the app can be a tad hard to learn. There’s a learning curve there. But once you “get it”, you’re good.

Excellent Color saturation and white balance, but have occasional issues
A little on the expensive side, but the color saturation, accurate white Kelvin temperature, and brightness can’t be beat. I use a mix of full size a19 and mini bulbs, and they always match on their white or colors. So far, I’ve had good luck with product life— out of 8 bulbs, I have had two fail — one started flickering while under the two year warranty (Lifx did replace for free) and I had one mini that stopped working around the 3 year mark, which is disappointing for the price. The other lifx bulbs I have owned between 3-6 years with minimal issues. On rare occasions, they stop responding, which can be annoying, but is typically fixed by removing and adding the light again. Can be a pain when you have complex scenes or routines configured. Lifx support is existent, which is more to say than other manufacturers. They’ll answer, but might not resolve the issue immediately. Just walking you through the typical trouble shooting, so not a lot of help with complex issues, such as when one is not responding in HomeKit, but still functioning in other apps. Sometimes it takes waiting with patience for an update to resolve the issue. In a smaller, 1 bedroom apartment, 1100 lumen is nearly overkill— I typically run them at around 50% of full brightness. But, the brightness is appreciated when it is needed. Also, important to note when selecting your bulbs is that A19 bulbs project light directionally, less filling 360° pattern. The mini’s emit more light from their sides, and are better for 360° lighting, such as in lamp shades.
