Lol.... what does "fits as expected mean"? i'm looking for an xl or 8.25" hat, anyone know the size of this one?

My Dad typically wears a Large or XL size hat. I wear a small/medium and this specific hat fits the both of us well. Although I do not know the exact measurements I can say it fits pretty much everyone. I hope this was helpful !!

It's probably a "slouch" style. "Clean up" is the '47 brand's word for "relaxed fit," which means the front two panels of the cap are as floppy as the other four panels of the cap. It seems to me, most hats are like that. In contrast, "structured fit" means that the front two panels are stiffer, and therefore hold the logo straighter, almost like it was starched. If you want stiffer, look for "structured fit."
