Purchased as a Christmas present that was very well received.

This book is very detailed with lots of background information that makes for better understanding.

I am not qualified to judge this book by an acknowledged expert, but as a published author of a technical book on another subject myself I see clearly that Peter Macdonald's book must be at the very top in its subject area. It is both wide-ranging and detailed.Beginner grafters should read first Larry Southwick's little book in the Storey Country Wisdom Bulletin series, also available on Amazon at a very low cost for quite a lot of information. Peter Macdonald's book comes later. (Do not buy Larry Eagleman's empty book.)Eric Franklin
