Collonil Leather Shoe Polish 1909 Crème de Luxe

I have a pair of Birkenstock shoes that I bought in Germany at an outlet in 2002. I bought a container of Colonil at that time. and have used 3 separate containers, (including the original) since that time. I wore the same shoes every day for 20years in my work as a social worker. The shoes still look and feel new. Colonil & Berkinstock a great combination.

Item is very soft and great color for most dark brown shoes. I use it for my boots the renovator’s color move to my pants it never stops I rubbed it with cloth so many times but it keeps making my pants brown. I like this color and softness, even jar was opened or moving the color to my clothing. I can wash and cleanse the cloth. Any color renovators makes my cloth brown but this one does the most.

This is my first time using this product and I am very pleased. Great for smooth leathers with minimum effort. Produces a nice gloss with very little temporary darkening of the leather.

I wish I had before and after photos to show how much this helped my cat-scratched sofa. Smooth a dab of this over the scratches and small tears, rubbing along the directed of the scratch so that you press the torn bits back into place. Press down fairly hard but only in that direction. It makes those scratches practically imperceptible. I was incredibly impressed! Smooth it over the entire sofa to clean away dirt and bring back the suppleness. You don't need a colored polish, this clear polish is perfect for cleaning, restoring, smoothing and protecting without messing with the colour.

I like the Collonil product. Came recommended and really liked the neutral color. Wanted one to apply to some 'tan' (a couple of colors of Shell Cordovan) for some mild but more prominent scuffs. Get the jar today. It's half filled. No leakage in the package, so must be from the factory. Picture shows the open jar of neutral color (after using on about 8 pairs of shoes/boots...you don't use much) and the 'brand new' Tan color (never used but half filled).

Great product. Recommended by friend that knew that I was putting some work into a few new pair of Oxfords. I only used on the flaps so they wouldn't crack. Soft cream, but when buffed up nice it produces a good luster.
