I’ve used corded versions of this before and always resorted back to my impact driver. I have a lot of Milwaukee tools and wanted to give this a try since I already had the battery to see if it would help speed up my project. It’s very light weight and well balanced. I’m still trying to get the hang of it with installing 5/8 Sheetrock on a ceiling but I really like this tool. It is faster than using my impact but not by much. I still really like this tool since it does stop you from over sinking the screw. Best advice I can give you is to only press the trigger when you have the drill tip depressed onto the screw. This unit is not very forgiving if you are not perfectly straight when sinking a screw. When you hear a grinding noise when you are sinking a screw, it’s best to stop and start over…or you are going to burn through replacement drill tips. The drill bit that came with the tools is very durable and will last you a while but order some replacements anyway.

Love this gun. I couldn’t ask for a better screw gun. I love the fact that it’s very lightweight, it won’t cause fatigue and it’s designed to fit your palm perfectly and really feels like an extension of your wrist. It’s super smooth and quiet, has a switch that if you turn the auto feature on, it only runs when pressure is sensed on the tip, sparing you from the constant whine of having your drywall gun running constantly. Easy on the ears. Depth settings are easily adjustable and precise with tactile clicks when turning dial. If you need to back out a screw, you can quickly pull the depth guide off (it’s quick-connect) and back out your screw. The bright led lights up the work area so you can see where you’re screwing in dark corners. A small m18 battery lasts almost 8 hours of near constant use, so it’s very power efficient. Best of all is the solid construction. Dropped it many many times from up to 7 feet and it keeps on going with no issues... very tough and well made tool. Highly recommend the Milwaukee FUEL drywall Screw Gun.

Believe item was counterfeit, due to the quality of the tool it was covered grease, also turned up in a black bubble wrap bag, no box or instructions were included. Tried an official colated screw attachment didnt properly fit the unit and the rating plate had inconsistencies, details were sent to milwaukee
