Make sure your marriage/partnership is on solid ground before attempting to install this door
This door is very nice and very good value for money. However it says it should take about 45mins to install by two people but doesn't mention how long it should take for two idiots who are completely useless at DIY. It took us five and a half hours to fit, not because we had to shorten the door and side strip, that was the easy bit. There were multiple screws supplies and other bits and pieces but nothing to tell you which screws to use at each stage and as for the lubricant in the plastic bag? well what can I say, we thought maybe that was supplied to ease it's journey where the sun don't shine as it was very nearly set on fire in the back garden. Most marriages won't survive fitting this door as the only information included was a brief description of how to fit it which was how shall I put it? not fit for purpose. Maybe the sellers would benefit from opening a box and reading the instructions to see how monumentally useless they are. Shame really as it is actually really nice when put up but not sure how long it will be before we are on speaking terms again and the knives put back in the kitchen drawer.

Hard work!
What should have been an easy job replacing an older sliding door of the same style was made one which enabled me to practice my Royal navy learned vocabulary, which I would not use in polite company. The instructions had been, as sadly they are too often, translated form the original Mandarin by someone who did not speak English, using a Chinese - English dictionary. The diagrams were quite useless to which, When they up and running they look quite reasonable for the money - when your blood pressure has stabilised.Tips; When you cut the bottom inch or three off to suit the height of your doorway remove all the screws from between the bottom slats and replace them in the new ends that you have created by cutting them to size. If you do not replace them the slates will slip and drag as will your morale! The four black plastic grooved pieces into which the 'hinge' side of the door upright clicks are for that side, not the handle side. That side only has one such item. The handle side upright is illogical as the front looks like it should be the back and vice versa,When fitting the top horizontal rail piece, which you will have to drill holes in for the securing screws, ensure that you use a thin screwdriver as a thicker one will not fit the groove, It takes two people to hang the door on this crosspiece as getting the runners into the groove is a bit fiddly. Initially secure the top rail with one screw in the middle so you can swivel it to hang the door from it.. Then swing it into place and affix with further screws. Ensure that you screw them into the door jam so they are flush or the runners will catch on them. I drilled and fitted five screws. The middle one, one at each end and one each side between end and middle. Make sure that you use a lubricant - vaseline used here, to grease the top rail groove so that the doors slide smoothly . For the handles - each one splits in half - not easily. Using the longest two screws supplied screw one handle base in and the screw will then attach the handle base on the other side of the door. repeat with the second screw from either side of the door or both from one, makes no matter. Snap on the handle top sections when the bases are firmly screwed in place. I did not screw the metal piece (for the magnet fastening on the door itself) to the handle side vertical rail, I glued it in place as I felt that the strange design of the upright with no place for the two screws, would be damaged or perhaps even split if I tried to screw the metal plate to it and the wall beyond. two days later i realised that the door handle side upright was the back to front! I had to take it down and reverse it so the wider open side was towards the door and the metal magnet contact strip set within it. The door edge then fits into the open slot. It was necessary to screw it to the door frame and the screw on wedge piece for it was then useless and redundant. I am a former Navy Paramedic and good at fixing bodies but this DIY jigsaw puzzle was a test indeed, but we finally got there.Decent instructions and diagrams would have cut the job in half instead it took my wife and I 5 hours and we nearly took the lot to the tip until i though of salvaging the screws from what I had cut off and refitting them into the new bottom end. then it worked! Simples! - well, not really, I think we won by one goal on Penalties! PS Memo to my GP - Blood pressure reducing tablets working well!

Absolute rubbish, don’t buy
Should have gone with my first instinct after reading reviews, rubbish door, even worse are the instructions, they make no sense, the drill holes are not pre drilled even though they say they are, not enough screws, although they sent me a video after I had to contact them it was a video of a different door!! Not helpful, then they sent a pdf of picture instruction which yes was better and I can probably get the door fixed directly from them, hopefully, the writing was in Chinese or similar, sadly I can’t read Chinese. They can’t seem to offer more help, I have advised they just send decent instructions in the first place. But they probably won’t. Do not recommend at all.

Good quality
The instructions aren't very clear but it doesn't take a genius to work it out I've had 5 up to yet and have ordered another 2 so 7 in total and they look lovely in my house they save loads of space I would recommend anyone that wants them to get them

Excellent if you read through reviews for instructions
I cannot understate how terribly written the instructions are. The only way I actually managed to install the door was after reading the review by a former navy seal who had worked it out. Even then, after installing the door I realised things that I would do differently next time in order to achieve perfection. The door works, just doesn’t look as neat because there were mistakes made due to lack of instructional detail. If you are handy and not afraid to search the web/product reviews for support then it’s good value for money and can fit a wide range of doorways. In terms of durability, it seems a little flimsy but I doubt anyone would use this door for heavy duty security needs.
