Anthony always delivers the best, great book for visual learning and thorough in explanations.
This is a beautifully illustrated book directed towards visual learning. Anthony is probably one of my FAVORITE presenters on Pilates Anytime. These stretches go from beginner to advanced, but like Anthony says your body isn't one thing (and most people who listen to their bodies know this). You may be able to do what someone describes as an "advanced" move and only been utilizing a reformer for a week or you could be doing Pilates on the reformer for 30 years and never been "advanced" in a movement. He has a lot of innovative ways to use the reformer to really get to the heart of the stretch.This along with Ellie Hermann's book are perfect to add or complete (if I only had two!) your reformer library. I am NOT a teacher just an at home enthusiast.

Perfectly done!
My background is yoga, black belt in Jiu jitsu, reiki master, ACE PT, and BB comprehensive pilates instructor IT.This book is exactly what I've been waiting for - it's on point in all areas - design, clarity, ease of reference, and highlights the importance of stretching (which I will be quoting from with all my clients!).Love it!

If you are a teacher, this book is a must!
As a Pilates teacher, I have incorporated stretching into almost session. This book not only goes into the mechanics of stretching, but also how to safely stretch and why. Then it covers stretching all major body parts using the Reformer. Each exercise has photos and also shows what the bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia are doing in the entire body, not just the target muscles. Fantastic!

Underwhelmed...worst paper quality I've ever purchased in a book
As someone whom relies heavily on reviews I felt inclined to do so on this product. As an experienced Pilates Teacher I haven't found this book very helpful as it has the basic stretches that I've utilized for years on the reformer. I was hoping for some more stretches to add to my list, but I wasn't abel to find them in this text. However, this book could be helpful for a new instructor to understand the basic stretches on the reformer as they have very clear pictures to help communicate what's going on in the body during an exercise.The biggest negative in this book is the paper quality. This book seems like it was printed out of a standard printer in someone's living room. If your going to charge over $50 for a book (it's overpriced) then you should at least provide a standard quality of paper.Therefore. I would only reccommend this book for someone who is very new to the Pilates Method, but you should be aware that the paper quality is that of a high school project. 🤔

Good, not great
Book is well organized and describes the stretches well. Many of them are pretty standard, but some are interesting. I wish it had more creative stretches, but the ones it has will get you there.

Excellent!
This manual fully describes each exercise and what muscles are working/stretching during the exercise. Love that it comes in color and it highlights the muscles. Great addition to your Pilates reformer routine.

A must for any reformer pilates instructor
The author explains how to properly stretch muscles and why it is important. The pictures show proper alignment for each step for the stretch. I loved the fact that the pictures included both actual people and skeletons to show the exact muscles being stretched. I am a reformer pilates instructor and it has helped me so much. I plan to include these stretches in my classes.

Love it!
Love this book! The color photos and the step by step instructions make it easy to follow and understand. For someone who is flexibly challenged as I am, this book will be a huge help!
