One hell of a player.
This thing is fantastic. My war movies from England (region b)work perfect. The blue rays look real close to 4K. I love it.

Nice Multiregion Player
Very nice multi region player. Picture quality is good and easy to operate. Despite what some other reviews say, I did receive the remote and HDMI cord. This is the second unit I have bought from this seller and both were a wonderful experience.

Arrived like new. If you read how to change Blu-ray zones, there will be no problems. This is the second region free player purchased from this company. I have never had a disc it couldn't read! Great product.

Good device. Description from seller can be better.
The description is not plain clear, it lets one believe that this is a special model from Sony, that is region free. It turns out that Sony does not manufacture region free players and this is a regular UBP-X800M2 that is opened by the seller (probably they are authorized by Sony to do it) and modified to be region free. It is not good that they don’t make this clear in the item description but the good thing is that they include a paper in the box (at least was included with my purchase) where they clarify this aspect and mention that there is a lifetime warranty for the region free modification. How the lifetime warranty is honored, in case it is needed, who knows? Maybe others had that experience and can share their experience.Besides this, the device works great. I tested it with disks from different regions and with 3D content. For more reviews you can check the ones existing for the actual model, the UBP-X800M2.

Remote control is too small ,picture quality not great but not bad ,smart features are modest and simply .Those above mentioned words are for high quality expectation customers ,anyways Sony X800 not bad at all ..
