Comfortable sleep headphones with good sound
I've been using another brand of sleep headphones for several years, but wanted to try these as a backup. I use them at bedtime for audiobooks or sleep sounds (ex: rain sounds). The CozyPhones are lightweight and comfortable. It was a bit difficult to adjust the speakers into the exact position in the headband. The speakers are flat, they don't hurt my ears, and the sound is good. These are not noise-cancelling, but they do help distract from noises such as snoring. I've been using them for several days, so I'm not sure about the durability yet. The cord has reinforcements at the plug and at the split where it enters the headband, so that may extend the life of the speakers. I"m pleased with the purchase so far.

My Go-To Headphones for Sleeping
I need water sounds to sleep and my spouse snores so these are the best solution to both issues that I have found. The sound quality is great for my needs (don’t need extra bass or anything fancy). The foam cushions do not bother my ears much / cause soreness (not nearly as much as ear buds do), though there was a bit of an adjustment period right at first. The foam speakers are also easy to adjust in the sleeve and easy to remove in order to wash the sleeve when needed. The sleeve /cover/band fits comfortably around my head and I like how these double as an eye mask to block out unwanted light too. I was a little concerned about buying the wired model, but even though I toss and turn at night, the wire has never been a problem in terms of sleeping/ choking hazard. The wires do become twisted and eventually fray (I think my first pair frayed after about 9 months, so I replaced them) but at the very reasonable price point for which these are offered, I don’t mind replacing the wired apparatus as needed. I actually prefer the wired ones to the wireless models as the battery packs on the wireless models sometimes dig into my forehead, which is uncomfortable.Pros: easy to adjust, easy to wash cover/sleeve, good sound quality, low cost, comfortable, double as an eye mask.Cons: wires eventually twist and frayThe bottom line: I use these every night and they help me achieve optimal sleep.Highly recommended.

Better than sleeping with earbuds, but still not impressed
I’ve been using these for about 2 months now, and I definitely have mixed feelings about them. Although they’re a definite improvement over sleeping with regular earbuds in (especially as a side sleeper), they aren’t great.First, they’re huge, and the fabric gets even more stretched out easily. I tumble dry the band after washing it every time hoping that the dryer will shrink it, but it hasn’t helped. (On the flip side, if you don’t want them to shrink, that’s a point in their favor!) I wish I had bought the kids version so they might fit better. On a related note, they do not stay put. Ever. Every time I wake up, the band is halfway onto my face like some kind of halfhearted, part-time eye mask. But it can’t actually double as an eye mask because it’s the wrong shape and it won’t stay put over my eyes either. I can understand why the band would naturally shift around a lot while I’m sleeping (esp. since it’s so big), but what annoys me even more is that the actual earphone pieces also shift around inside of the band all the time. If the band itself were narrower it might prevent this, but they have tons of room to shift around in there so not only is it hard to place them in the right spot but they won’t stay in that spot long anyway. The unnecessarily wide band is also a problem for other reasons. I have never been one to “sleep hot” - I sleep under a fleece blanket year-round and usually sleep in a winter hat 3 months of the year, just to give some perspective. So it never, ever occurred to me that I might feel overheated sleeping with these on...but I’ve repeatedly woken up desperate to rip these off and cool down. I know a lot of people have said that the interior lining keeps them cooler, but that has not been my experience at all. The wide band has also been an unexpected problem for my skin. To be fair, my skin is much more sensitive than a lot of people, but I was definitely not expecting to be dealing with breakouts on my neck and forehead because of these. I wash the band often, but even keeping it really clean doesn’t help. I guess the fabric doesn’t breathe at all because it must be trapping everything against my skin everywhere that it touches me - which, again, is way more surface area than you’d expect because it’s so wide.I’m not particularly knowledgeable about sound quality or anything, but I have no complaints in that area. They sound fine to me. I mostly sleep on my side, and I’ve noticed I have to turn the volume up significantly when I roll over onto my back because there’s no way to keep the earphone part closer to my ear if it’s not being sandwiched between the pillow and my head.I also have mixed feelings about the cord. It’s long, which is great. And it’s wrapped with some kid of material, so it’s not just bare plastic, which is also great. But after less than 2 months it had already developed 2 places where the cord has “escaped” from the exterior covering, creating these small loops of plastic cord sticking out. It doesn’t seem to have impacted their sound performance, but it looks terrible and makes them get tangled up more easily.Overall, I doubt I would buy these again unless they made significant changes to them. But most of the issues I have with them are things that might not be a problem for everyone, so I can’t say that I’d never recommend them either. They’re not the right ones for me, but if you have a large head, don’t have sensitive skin, and don’t get easily overheated at night then these might be a great choice for you! :)

I wasn't expecting much ~ but I was pleasantly surprised 😊
My wife goes to sleep before me and I like to sit up and work on my laptop while watching tv. I've been using small wired headphones or wired earbuds. But if I want to lie down those are both very uncomfortable. I started poking around on Amazon and came across CozyPhones. I wasn't expecting much when I ordered them but I think they sound pretty good, in fact much better than I was expecting. Based on customer comments I was also expecting that they would be uncomfortable, Again, I have been pleasantly surprised with how they feel. Sitting up they're quite comfortable and when lying down on my side with my head on a pillow I can only slightly feel the speaker. If they broke or I lost them I would order them again. 😊
