Will it fit around a plus size 4x woman?

My wife is a 4x and it fits around her. She loves it.

Will this fit around someone on the higher plus size end?

I am 5”10 220lbs and fits perfect.

Is there a way to limit the crazy amount of shedding this blanket has? I don't mind a little but it's a ton (used right out of the box).

I didn’t have a shedding problem but if I did I would have thrown it in the dryer (low heat or fluff) for a bit to see if it helped
