Easy to install....worth the price
My husband and I did a small renovation at our church. Our church was built in 1887 and had a 6ft. long gold leaded fern glass window above the church doors. It was encased between two pieces of glass but somehow the outer glass got shattered. We managed to get it removed from above the door in one piece and new glass put in. We wanted to preserve this piece as fern glass is rare and the gold 'leading' isn't something you see every day.We took it to a gallery framer who framed it in black and put 2 hooks (metal loops), one on each side about 2 inches down. At first we used picture wire and hung it opposite the new window but couldn't hide the wire from showing behind the fern glass. I have used gallery style hanging methods before so when I came across this, I knew I had to order it.This window is 6ft long and weighs probably between 50 - 80 pounds. We put up this system, clipped the snaps onto the metal loops on the back and wow....what a professional look! We had some trepidation as to whether or not it would hold the glass but it did. It was very easy to install (took the 2 of us on ladders). It makes the foyer to our church look so much better and there is no longer any small shards of glass falling on anyone when they leave. This is a great product. While it may seem expensive, the benefits in how your room, office, hallway or even church looks after you install and hang your pictures is priceless. What a game changer.

Excellent hanging system for art in my business
I stepped out on a limb with this purchase. I wanted a quality art gallery hanging system for displays at the coffee bar. Something easy for artists to use, simple for me to hang and maintain. The zipper mechanisms are pricey, but worth it. Buy extra. It checks all of the boxes. Ease of installation, ease of use, professional look for artists to showcase their work.Glad I didn't fall off that limb ; )

Perfect hanging system
It holds 10 or more paintings very well. I was careful installing, because it’s very important to keep it straight. I like it so much, I need to get another system for another wall in my studio.

Excellent
As an artist I change out my artwork often. My walls were starting to look like swiss cheese from changing out my art and moving everything around so much. Love these. Ended up buying additional wire and hooks. Now I can change out my art and move it around as much as I want without damaging my walls. Very easy to install. I did 2 sections and fill almost my intire wall.

STAS Picture Hanging System is great
I have installed the STAS Picture Hanging System on several walls in my home. I have a textured ceiling and found it a little tricky to get all the holes drilled in an exactly straight line - 1 1/4 inches down from the ceiling varies depending on the texture of the ceiling at that point. If the holes (and therefore the fasteners that go in the holes to hold up the rails) are not in a straight line, it is very difficult to get the rails up. No doubt for a handier person it would be very straightforward.Once the rails are installed, you are home free. You can add or remove the wires anywhere along the rails, and slide them back and forth as desired. The hooks can be positioned anywhere up and down the wires. You can even rotate the hooks around the wires to tweak whether the picture faces a little to the right or the left. I love being able to rearrange my art work - to curate art shows for myself. The second time I ordered a set of STAS rails, I accidentally ordered a different kind (turns out STAS makes several different shapes of rails). Even though I didn't open the package and discover my error until after the official return date, they allowed me to exchange them for the ones I really wanted. For the photo display, I hung two "Lockways Magnetic Chalkboard Black Board, Bulletin Blackboard 48 x 36 Inch, Black Aluminium Frame" from the STAS system, and used "Push Pin Magnets, Transparent crystal colour Fridge Magnets, 120 Pack Strong Magnets, Perfect for Whiteboard Magnets, Office Magnets, Map Magnets" sold by LOVIMAG to hold the pictures on. This was one of those delightful cases where the actual display fulfilled my vision for it.

Perfect for hanging framed photos without destroying your walls
I am an amateur photographer and wanted a system where I could hang frame photos at home and change them out and move them around easily. This system from STAS met those requirements perfectly. The first rail I installed went up daily easy. I did put the screws into wall studs instead of using the drywall anchors. The second rail gave me a little problem. I may have had on of the mounting screws installed off just a little but it took a rubber mallet to "click" the rail into place. Once both rails were up cables and hooks installed on cables effortlessly. Cables slide along the track to where you want them located. I ordered more smartspring hooks for lighter weight frames.I usually have two 18" x 24" or three 12" x 15" glass frames hanging on each of the 60" steel cables, of which there are four (4) in this set. This system makes it easy to remove a photo , readjust the hook, and replace it with a different photo.
