Uniball Vision Elite BLX Rollerball Pens, Blue/Black Pens Pack of 4, Bold Pens with 0.8mm Ink

These are great pens, the colour is gorgeous and they are wonderful to use, best on smooth paper but work well on anything. They took a while to arrive and work out quite expensive but couldn't see them available anywhere directly in the UK.

Having used a regular Vision Elite 0.5mm pen which I loved I tried our a green BLX version with a 0.8mm tip. The pen oozes quality, for a pen which you can get for around £2 it is exceptional, with each element (barrel, lid, etc) made to look like a more expensive unit. The pen writes very smoothly, better than the 0.5mm which is still an exceptional disposable, although I have to say that I do prefer the smaller lines. All in all if it is good enough for Louis Litt (the finest legal mind in New York...) it is good enough for me. Highly recommended (but shop around)

Love, love this pen. I had to order a dozen just to get this color; brown without having to buy 4 different colors in the same pack.

I love colored ink but don't like using it in a business setting; this solves the problem of boring black and blue pens. The ink is a very dark purple, which I love. I will note that I would not use this pen to edit writing; I avoid editing in black for fear that the edit will be overlooked later because of the lack of contrast, and I would not edit with these for that reason. So the previous reviewer is correct that these pens are very dark, but they are not black ink as he states. These pens are ideal for me because I can see that they are purple, but at a glance they look like any other dark ink pen, so they are appropriate in business meetings. I tried them in my planner with ivory paper, and it was not as easy to tell that the ink was purple, so I would stick to white paper with these. As far as the Vision Elite pens themselves, it's a good pen that has some problems - namely, sometimes the barrel cracks, making it impossible for the cartridge to stay in place. These pens can dry out faster than other ink pens, too. I like these pens a lot and go through phases where I gravitate to them more than other pens, but they are not my #1 all-time favorite as they are for some people. The big draw for me for the present purchase was the BLX colors. Overall a good pen in a great color.
