I had purchased what I thought was the same towels (from a different seller) and these are not as thick or absorbent. Fairly disappointed but I can't return them as I washed them before I tried them.

Light weight was the wrong question. I bought these sheets because they are heavy and lots of soft absorption. Largest size available. Perfect for wrapping up in after a shower or bath.
