This is a really nice shrug, I bought it for a wedding bc I wanted to cover up my arms and this will work perfect and it is fancy enough to wear with my dress. Bc of the other reviews I ordered a size up (I normally wear a size small in tops but ordered an 8 instead) and it fits really well. It is not too tight in the arms and my arms don't look fat. It's actually a little loose in the arms but not to the point where it looks bad and it will be more comfortable than if it were really tight. I was afraid bc of some of the other reviews but I think ordering the next size up to be safe is the way to go. I am really happy with my purchase and I am happy that I bought it.

Perfect sollution to my beaded bodice. 5'4" 280lbs. Size 24/26 typically a 3/4 in Torrid sizes. I purchased the largest size of this shrug.I needed sleeves for my chilly Halloween wedding and to protect my arms from rubbing on the sharp beads and sequins of my dress. Without it I would have been bleeding by the end of the ceramony.It was a little darker than my dress, but overall I loved the sheer quality and the fit was perfect. The sleeves are a little on the long side, which I prefer, but would also fit someone who may need longer sleeves due to longer wingspan or wider shoulders.

I haven't worn this out yet, but I did try it on. Here's my take on the size 10: I'm almost 5'9" and around 36-37 bust. It's a bit snug in the bodice part, but it's a stretchy material. The arms are a tad snug too, but since I have good muscle tone in my arms and they're not heavy, I don't mind this at all. So overall, it's snug for a medium but I'm keeping it as the large might be too large. The ivory color is slightly off-white. I was hoping for a bit darker - more of an almond color, but this can probably pass for white too - so I'll probably get some good use out of it (assuming it holds up).

I was looking for a more dressy bolero shrug and this one fit the bill. It fits nice and snug on the arms and just the right amount of sheerness. The quality is better than I expected. You could wear this with a basic sleeveless black dress and it makes it very dressy. I actually am wearing it to a wedding with a sleeveless dress. Buy it you won't be disappointed. It also fits true to size but remember it does fit snug but not tight and that is the look I was going for. If you want a little cover up for your arms this is it!

i bought and should have returned it. its uncomfortable, scratchy, too thick and awkward. I have several of these and this one is my least favorite. The material is not soft. I am going to end up repurposing the material.

I read the reviews on this and specifically ordered a medium and found the remarks by all were right on......this is very snug, but that was what I wanted and the material is great as I had to pull to get it on my arms (and I have thin arms) and was trying to be careful not to snag or tear it, but it held up beautifully. I'm 5'4" and 114 lbs, so a larger person might have a real problem with it.

When the shrug came first thing I noticed was the color. I ordered mocha but it was more of a nude tight color. This was disappointing as I got it for a wedding and even though it matches my dress it was not the look I was hoping for. Also it was tight which means if I am going to wear it I have to lose some weight in my arms in the next three weeks or wear a tight shrug. If I was to reorder I would get a size larger then my regular size. Overall I am not impressed and wish the photos gave a better idea of what the true colors are.

I am 5'5" 146lbs 34F and the large is just a little snug which I like. It looks very close to the picture but I don't have the body figure like the model :P
