Comfortable to hold, light weight, slices tomatoes, pears, onions & even butternut squash effortlessly. It's my 'go to ' knife for most food prep. I lost my last one, & I was lost without it. It's only a little more expensive than other similar knives, but it is really worth paying a little more.

The knife is sharp and thankfully hasn't got a sharp pointed end. It cuts things accurately and using a sawing motion is great for carefully cutting all kinds of things Vegetables; Fruit; Garlic; Onions; Slicing long beans; Dicing Potatoes etc - Has the usual Kitchen Devil build quality. A comfortable handle that doesn't slip. I would never use it for peeling anything especially not working towards me - dedicated peelers are safer. But for cutting away from you keeping hands behind the knife it's superb.

My sister has a very old one of these and I've been looking for one in the shops for ages, glad I've found it at last. We didn't know it was called a tomato knife. Its very useful for slicing small buns etc., when a full size bread knife is too big. The size quoted in the description is wrong though. It says 30.5cm, but it is really 22cm with an 11cm blade.

I left home 30 years ago and bought pretty much everything I needed. The only items I still owned from all that time ago are my Kitchen Devil knives. Last year I decided I needed some new knives (even though there was nothing wrong with them), and I replaced all my knives with an expensive German brand. What a waste of money they were! I have just replaced those with Kitchen Devil knives again and they are perfect! They cut well, feel ergonomically comfortable, and don’t rust in the dishwasher! There are no silly rivets which always fall out and they are hygienic, being made of toughened plastic handles and stainless steel blades. I’m sure these will last forever!

I got these to replace an old one. My favourite knife by far. However they have changed the design a bit. The old one had a much softer, rubber handle. This one has a harder plastic handle. It still is a good knife just I'm so use to the feel of the old one which I still have but replaced due to rubber coming away from handle. Shame they changed the design as it was much softer on your hands to hold but at least it still cuts brilliantly.
