My Grandson says 5 stars! This was a gift for my grandson. He loves it. It’s made of good strong materials. He can fit a few of his favorite cars in the back.

It does not fit every Hot Wheels or Matchbox car to pull them by the wheel ramp, in case anyone was wondering. It fits some of them. But the wheel ramp is just slightly wider than the spread of about half of the Hot Wheels car wheels. I thought this truck was the same scale and was stoked to find a tow truck that could pull my son’s cars, but it only works for some. That being said, this is a great little truck in its own right. This simple toy is my 3 year old son’s favorite birthday present. He carries it with him everywhere.

I got this for my son for his birthday, who loves tow trucks. He LOVES this toy. The second day, he got the hook off. Not only was this a choking hazard, but he pulled the string out the little hole too. I tried to pull the string back through the hole to no avail. I was able to get it through, I will write how in case any other parents run into this problem. I took a piece of dental floss and slid it though the the small crack on the top where the string threads through. Then after I got the floss through, I tied the string on one end of the tow string then I pulled it though. Viola! Then I triple knotted the hook back on and I plan on putting some glue on it so this doesn’t happen again. Hope this helps a parent out.

So my son loves tow trucks, and yes it is perfect bc it does extend out and he gets to hook it to stuff, but boy howdy, when that thing goes off, it runs you into an instant panic attack as it sounds just like a fire alarm going off! Gets me literally every single time. Also, only 3 stars because the hook easily gets untied and comes off. Over time it becomes a pain and obviously a choking hazard since the hook is tiny.

So far a really fun toy, my son loves it but oh my goodness the sound is obnoxious. I thought the smoke detector was going off the first time he used it.
