Highly practical approach to executive function for ADD/ADHD people
I had heard an ADDITUDE Webinar from the author and understood what executive function means in practical terms in everyday life. I could finally see where I was going wrong. Here she sets it out concisely and clearly.

Great
I really like this book. I'm still reading it, but it has already helped me a lot. It's organized in such a way that you can read it all at once, or just go straight to the executive function you are interested in. There is a very clear explanation of the executive functions at the beginning of the book.I am adult with ADHD, -ADD specifically- and the Sunday basket and some other "tricks" have saved my weekends! It's really about doing small things during the week. If you suffer because of things like cooking, doing the laundry, going to the supermarket, etc., you have to read this book!

Great 1st step!
This is teaching me a lot 2. I like that it's from a perspective of someone who doesn't have ADHD. But I don't like the fact that she doesn't touch base with everything, because this is a family disease, not just the person who has it. And I like that she says it's not just a military disease, because that's basically what people related it to, I did to. But it's not! More people in our population are affected by PTSD than the military/vetrans. But the government is more willing to help the military/vetrands with PTSD than us "common Folk." Some military/vetrans who are claiming that they won't are just not loooking, in my opinion, because as soon as I went online to the Social Security disability website, I saw so much help for the military with PTSD and pretty much NO help for us "regular" folk with PTSD. Even us with Recurrent PTSD! WE ARE TRASH TO THE GOVERNMENT & SOCIETY. And I just wish more people would see that. Because we are people too, we might not be FAMOUS, and we might not be in MILITARY/VETRANS, but we are people who have PTSD/RECURRENT PTSD and our lives are in danger too! We are at risk, of losing our lives by the actions of ourselves, amongst other awful things that you, "normal," people have no clue. And I think her book is the first beginning of understanding. I don't think it fully gets everything but it's just the beginning. Us "common folk," with PTSD/REOCCURENT PTSD, have been through trauma you can't even imagine in your dreams, you would blow somebody away from and would go 2 prison 4, if it happened to your child! That is, If you actually cared about your child/children, we didn't/don't have anybody to care for us.

Fantastic! 5 stars. Such a great, well written and insightful book!
Five stars! Fantastic book. Lisa has such an amazing insight into the ADHD mind. I learnt so much and I have recommended the book to a few friends who I know will benefit. A must for anyone with ADHD, anyone who has a loved one with ADHD, or quite honestly anyone who has an interest in how the mind works.
